Just to let you know Jonathan has left the Big Brother house for good. Apparently his grandmother has died and since he was leaning towards going anyway, this was the deciding factor.

i'm quite surprised someone of his age had a living grandparent anyway. mine were all deceased by the age of 24. it is sad for him though. i quite liked him.

How did he know she had died? Did BB tell him?

I think it goes down on their form, if they want to be contacted about war, family, etc.

Ha ha, that is funny due to the smug psychiatrist on the couch. None of them would be missed would they? They are all rather blah. (Altho' I am with Nikki with regards her Liam crush, were I in the house that's exactly what I'd be doing.)

My dad is 76 and his mother just died in her 90s. My brother is coming 50. It's not that unusual. Althought the Highland air and good living probably had a lot to do with it.

I guess so - i'm the youngest of the grandchildren in my family so that's why I see it from that perspective.

On the other hand, my uncle has just turned 70 and he's a great grandfather already. I'm a bit disappointed to see him go as he seemed very astute. He'd have suited last year's BB better though, an ally for Susie and Aisleyne.

I'm not 100% sure why, but I really like Jonathan. He seems very solid and rather sweet. I'm sad to see him go. I hope he turns up on something like...8 Out Of 10 Cats. I think he'd be good on that!

While I did see the guys' point of having a drink together in the diary room before Jonathan left, it did disappoint me that they still excluded the only non-straight man from their little drinking session.

I developed a somewhat inappropriate crush on him, and was sad to see him go. He had more sense than the rest of them put together.
