As soon as she came on the screen I though, 'that's that Thalia from AllStars'. I bet they'll rumble her.

I reckon the reason a lot of it sounds dodgy (the accent and everything) is to make the audience think, "It's completely obvious this person is a fake - they are really stupid if they don't figure it out/it's not that impressive that they actually figured it out!" You know, to have a bit of a laugh with the audience at the housemates expense. It seems a very Big Brother thing to do.

It's one of the more interesting twists BB have had in a long long time. Although, of course, that's not saying much.
Also, of course, they'll balls it up as they do everytime.
Oh how I miss the Brian/Jade-era genuinally interesting BB with likeable characters.

No I just think they couldn't find anyone who could do a good Australian accent and was as fit as they wanted. So in the end they went for fit over the accent.

This is going to be contrived beyond belief. I know that's kind of the point of Fake Week, but she's going to be doing EXACTLY what the producers want in order to spice up the show.
Flirting with Ziggy... out-doing Charley... probably winding Nicky and/or Carole up in some way... surely the housemates themselves will be suspicious about just how much she's shaking things up?

Ziggy has already said that he's had enough and wants to end it with Chanelle but is worried about how he'll appear and how its hard to avoid her in the house.
If he does so its going to be played that it was "Pauline" that caused the split, making her the best thing to shake up the house EVAH!!!

Yes, after all usually housemates try to fit it and make friends.
I just don't like the sound of it all, although next week's fake eviction sounded quite good - especially if its Charley

I'd like it to be Chanelle. She can say 'Charley is a bitch', get thrown back in, have Charley tear her a new one and cry for a week.
And I will laugh.

Yes, either her or Ziggy because then they could say all kinds of things about their 'relationship' and then have to see them.
Ouch!

Was that actually based on the real Australian Diary Room? I've been watching BBAU (have done for a few years) and yes, it was. Not completely accurate though. Big Brother's voice was completely wrong for Australian BB, too. He's a lot meaner IRL. Supposedly Brian's been watching BBAU this year... proves he really is stupid. If I was in the House I'd have been in the Diary Room pointing out the flaws before "Pauline" had even started speaking.

If I'd figured it out this early I'd be straight in the Diary Room asking producers what they'd be willing to give me in exchange for me not blowing their whole plans for the week.

Thalia has been all over Irish TV for the last few months as part of a drink-driving campaign. In fact, that ad runs during Big Brother all the time...

It says on channel 4 that the housemates have practically already rumbled her.

When exactly has Brian watched Australian BB? He's been in the house for x amount of weeks already. Still think he's great but I dont like all this "Brian willl be the one to rumble her" nonsense.

It says on channel 4 that the housemates have practically already rumbled her. I'm hoping this leads to those great highlight shows where they pretend any indication they're getting close to ruining the plans is edited out completely meaning anyone who isn't getting their information solely based on an hour's Channel 4 show is enjoying watching them try and cover the total balls up they'd made. Like when Michelle & Emma (BB5) put itching powder in Vanessa's shirt which ended up being about three sizes too big for her so the powder didn't make contact with her skin. She only scratched once for about half a second but that half a second was then repeated endlessly to indicate that IT WORKED PERFECTLY LOL!!! Its a shame the producers can't simply admit when something hasn't gone to plan because they just make themselves look stupid. Also I wonder, given the housemates have come this close after a day how long Davina wil be able to keep the pretence up for.

I've not been watching Big Brother much at all, just my Dermot fix in the mornings with my cereal. Still, I am SO glad that I caught a bit of it last night - when they were doing the fake food test. Carole, with such authority, declaring that "pork pie pate would be British" was the funniest thing I've seen in ages. "oh, porcupine pate, now that could be Australian". Brilliant!

I think the whole operation has been contrived enough to ensure saving of face whatever happens. If it 'succeeds', then they can show how they introduced new divisions into the house, etc. etc.
If it doesn't, then they can point to how obvious Thalia was as a fake, dropping accent, lack of knowledge about Australia, and so on, so that it was meant to be like that for the housemates to guess.
It's all a bit of a waste of time, really, isn't it?

Haven't they said that if the housemates figure it out they'll win a luxury hamper? I don't think the producers really know where they want it to go.

Was Darren Osbourne from Hollyoaks also in the allSTARS or am I confusing him with someone else?

So 'Pauline' has been 'rumbled', and Thalia has left the house.
So what the fuck was that all about?

Producers brought it to an end tonight with a 'who is the most fake' task. Thaila seemed suspiciously eager to be labelled the most fake. Charming Charley proceeded to shriek "bitch!" "bitch!" at the diary room door after she left and BB revealed the plot. It really was a bit of a lazy fuckup - it only lasted two days!
