What an anticlimax! I know it was probably too much to hope that Tracey would trap her in the corner and sing "Land of Make Believe" in her face with lots of vitriol and spittle, but still.

How rubbish. However I thought it even MORE rubbish that as a birthday present they told Brian about the fakery on Tuesday but said he wasn't allowed to tell the others or "Pooh" that he knew. Brian is so the chosen one this year. Boo, he's rubbish.
Edit: a few too many "rubbishes" in there but it does sort of sum up the whole week.

I think my feeling on this task is the same as my feeling for the series in general. It started out with so much hope but then quickly became apparent the producers have fuck all idea where they want to go with it and by the end let it die its death.
It really is time to end Big Brother after this series, isn't it? I used to be such a fan but in the past two or three series I've become increasingly despondent with it and can now spot a mile off when the producers are trying to steer things in order to get their desired winner.
I was going to suggest they're desperate for an ethnic winner and outline my reasons why but it's probably not a good idea to bring up race as we all know it quickly descends into arguments whether the intentions are good or not.
Going back to the flop "Fake Week". Surely if Nicky is evicted (which is looking likely according to what I've heard) once she sees what the housemates have said to her she'll not want to return to the house. She's already mentioned that she wants to leave anyway so would it not be the case that if Davina were to say "Just how much would you love to go back in there right now?" and point manically at the screen like she does week in, week out, Nicky would turn around and say "Not very much..."?
I hope to God it's Nicky that's evicted and then refuses to go back in. It would show Big Brother up for the tosser he is

I said in an earlier post that one of the reasons I felt they were setting up Charley to win was their desire to tick another minority box for their winners. However, Brian is now the bookies' favourite so that box could be on its way to being ticked.

I hope to God it's not Brian. If people can't see through the "Dunce" act he puts on then there's absolutley no hope for the future of Britain

Why whenever they give her tasks does she act like she's an actual housemate and they're forcing her to do them?
And why tell Brian in the first place.
Actually just why?

I really liked Thalia. She was a far better housemate than any of the real ones this year. They should at least have had her stay the full week.

The only funny thing about the whole week was Gerry's 'I'm nota bothered! Lets drop it! But they're doing it all wrong!' strop over the Kylie dance routine, then insisting on doing the 'actual' routine when everyone else was doing a made up version. He was most annoyed that he hadn't been chosen as Kylie.

Charley has crossed the line from being embarrasingly amusing to truly hateful.

Next year please can we have a whole house full of fake housemates who have to do comedy accents and don't know that any of the others are fake.

I don't think it should be cancelled by any means, i just am a little bored by the contestants because there is anyone i love, i like Gerry and Brian but i don't love them.
I tape the show in the morning and watch it on sky+ so i can whizz by any adverts or Nikki

Is it me? Didn't Gerry throw a glass of water at Charley, and she retaliated with a larger glass? Why is it now being said she attacked him?

I thought Gerry threw first too.
But then Charley said that Gerry had thrown back at her in the Diary Room, so I guess she did start it.
Maybe the argument was a lot longer than shown, but they needed the time to show Brian being "adorable" with Amanda.

This whole directionless experience has been made fantastic simply by the look on Chanelle's face when she knew Charley hadn't really been evicted.

I did quite love Charley's genius jacket, boots and underwear ensemble.
I think Davina was a bit fucked off about the fake eviction. When she was walking Charley back into the house she looked like she was about to cry. I thought this might be because she felt mean not being able to talk to Charley but my boyfriend came up with the plausible explanation that the producers had told her to stay focused and she was pissed off about not being able to chat crap like she usually does.

They totally fucked it up. As soon as Charley came out to a silent crowd she knew there was something up. That's why initially she was so nice about Chanelle until she heard the nominations, when she could no longer hold back her hatred.
Why didn't they just treat it as a normal eviction? Having the crowd hollering and screaming as she came down the stairs would have worked her up enough to be truley vile in the interview. Instead she was guarded because she knew something was amiss.
It was all handled so wrong. And the only thing I really found entertaining was her make up brush hanging out of her bag

She seemed genuinely shocked when she saw the footage of what an almighty cunt she is. I hope this hasn't been a Ghost of Christmas Future experience for her, and now she will change her ways and start throwing money to orphans. Though I would quite gladly smother her with a pillow, at least she has a personality.

But if they had done it as a normal eviction, the house would have heard the anti-Charley crowd, and she wouldn't have been able to go back in telling them all how much she is loved. Not that BB could possibly have planned that, of course. And are any of the housemates going to realise that Charley is likely to be hated, not loved, outside? Surely someone ought to pick this up!

props to Charley for shouting her head off at the silent crowd, I can imagine that being pretty diorientating and a bit daunting.
That said, the whole Fake Week debacle has been a bit tragic, boo.
