Taken from Popjustice
When Mike Stock was promoting his book recently, he mentioned that things were "thawing" between him and Pete Waterman, then went on to hint at a Stock Aitken Waterman "reunion of sorts".
Well, I don't know if it's true or not, but the following message was posted on The Tip Sheet messageboard today:
"News reaches us of one of the most exciting music projects coming our way in 2005. It seems that 80's producers Stock, Aitken and Waterman have reformed and are working on their "Coming Of Age" album to celebrate their 21 years in the industry. Rumour has it that the album will feature former SAW artists performing brand new SAW tracks as well as a whole host of todays hottest pop acts covering brand new productions of classic SAW songs."
Does anyone know if this is true? As their biggest artist I assume they surely could not do this without Kylie on board.

If only it were true... I doubt pete would. Just imagine if they did. Would anyone seriously want to re-record with them? Would they be taken seriously? I cant really imagine kylie, bananarama, jason donovan, reynolds girls, big fun, sonia (she might actually), donna summer, cliff, rick astley et al jumping at the chance.
Do not get me wrong, i love SAW productions (even the band aid 2 - check kylie.com for that download and hear loads of late 80's heroes warbling their bit for the starving kiddies - so much better than the current 'trendy-for-trendy's sake' effort.

they would JUMP at the chance, all of them. Have you seen any of those people in the charts this century? (Xept Kylie)
They're all probably working at Sainsburys dreaming of the 80s as they restock the cheddar (I restocked the cheddar for a while as a (depressed) teenager but I didn't have any pop career memories which I think you prbably NEED if you're on dairy)

Please let this be true.
No, really. I think I will actually die if this isn't true.
