Long before she braided her hair and started flirting her way through time and space, Billie Piper had a pop career. Everyone loved Billie [please note: not factually true] but her millions of fans can't decide which album was better.
Personally, I prefer the first album as she danced with poor CGI rhino bouncers and hung about in skate parks looking for a boyfriend. It's like the story of my life!

Bit of a cheat to have the Best Of on there, but Walk Of Life wins because
a) It has Misfocusing on it; bizarrely left off the Best Of b) It doesn't have Party on the Phone on it; bizarrely included on the Best Of
(By the way, if I remember correctly, the album was called Honey To The B - which I always quite liked, as I sort of thought, Billie = B. The singles/song was 'Bee' I believe)

I only put Very Best Of on there as there'll be some knob 'who loves everything she's done and just can't decide' and even knobs deserve an option!

I don't own Honey To The B, but I vote Walk Of Life anyway: it's a really underrated album, I think. 'Something Deep Inside' was fucking brilliant.

Honey to the B easily.
Honey to the Bee wasn't the first single I bought but it's the first one I clearly remember buying, and the album was just fantastic. Billie was much better before she was sexy. And when she was Billie, not Billie Piper! Camper = Better - the fundamental rule of pop.

Dear Billie,
We know you're leaving Doctor Who, but have you considered returning to pop? It needs you.
Lots of love from Steven

I can't choose, so won't vote as James'll call me a knob if I go for The Best Of.
James is nasty.

Oh God. I just remembered the time when I was at university when I dressed up as Billie Piper and "performed" 'Day And Night' at the end of term party.

Sorry but I had to vote for The Best of because it has her version of G.H.E.T.T.O.U.T. on it. And I think she sounds lovely on that track.

Is that the R&B song with the chorus 'No more sitting at home alone while you're out with somebody else/No more staring at the phone, cos I can do better by myself'? I had no idea she'd covered that. As regards the actual poll, I quite like She Wants You but overall I never understood the big deal about her as a popstar. She's far better at acting, and should stick to it.

It was a B-side to her first single I think and yeah its the Changing Face song. I really like it, she sounds a bit like Aaliyah on it, if thats possible. I can send it to you if you'd like.

Oh yes, She Wants You is amazing, and justifies album one in itself.
My homemade DVD of Billie's performances and videos is missing anything from She Wants You. Sad face.
'What's your favourite Beatles album?' 'That would have to be.... The Best of The Beatles'

Did you attempt the running up the wall back flip seen in the video? I suspected I attempted that beforehand, messed it up, sustained brain damage, and that was what convinced me that a Billie Piper impression would be a brilliant, entirely unembarrassing idea.

Please say there is photographic evidence... It's entirely possible that somebody somewhere has photographs of this lamentable incident. I, however, do not. Sorry!

When Billie was first big I was a mere primary schooler, and I remember my friend and I had an ever-so original version of Girlfriend that we used to sing at breaktimes... it went something like this:
Me: Do ya have a girlfriend? Her: NUT! Me: You're looking real cool Her: NUT! Me: Can I have your number? Her: NUT! Me: Well I'll just have to punch you. *Cue crazy dancing*
I'm sorry. I really am. I just had to share that with someone, anyone.

I did a very sad thing and downloaded 'Because We want to' earlier this week. I hated it at the time, being far far too cool for any of that pop nonsense, the 9 or so years since have imporved it.

Billie has the same birthday as me! 22nd of September. It's also Bilbo and Frodo's shared birthday, and the day that Flight 815 crashed in Lost!
My dad moved *not long after she came out to a place called Swinton in Baillieston which is JUST in Glasgow, at the edge, and I always remembered that Billie came from Swindon, and I got them confused, being young, and I got really excited because I thought my dad lived next to Billie Piper.
