Should I start separate threads for the Thornton and Edith Bowman?

I am actually gobsmacked by Jamie Lynn and Lily. I think I'm getting old.

If it's at a "very, very early stage" and they want their privacy respected, why put out a fucking press announcement?

I think because the Sun had already got the story so they had to confirm to avoid further speculation - which I seem to recall Charlotte Church had to do as well...

Surely it would become apparant in a few months whether it was true or not anyway. Maybe she doesn't want people thinking she's back on the pies though, which is fair enough.

The thought of Lily Allen as a mum is both terrifying and hilarious. Just got this down the newswire What is this 'newswire' of which you speak? I always imagine it to be morse code, but is it just a website?

Should I start separate threads for the Thornton and Edith Bowman? At first I read that as 'the Tointon' and I was all "DEAR GOD NO!"

Oh god. There's something in the water. Still, at least it's not the Whiley that's stolen sperm.

Yay for Lily. I love Lily, actually, dunno why, just can't help myself. Poor Jamie, though! The last thing that family needs is more accusations of anything remotely trailer trashy!

Is the thought of Keith Allen being a grandfather alarming anyone else?

Lily opened the Harrods sale today, following in the footsteps of Victoria Beckham, Kelly Brook and Eva Longoria.
She really does trancend her streeticity.

I was also quite impressed that she said she's not going to design a range of maternity clothes, because she has lots of young female fans and she thinks it would set the wrong example. No mention of whether she thinks it might be interpreted as a bad example to get knocked up by your boyfriend of less than three months, but at least she's an adult.

She's suffered a misscarriage. Awful news.

I think because the Sun had already got the story so they had to confirm to avoid further speculation - which I seem to recall Charlotte Church had to do as well... And this is why it's bloody horrible and intrusive for the media to speculate on really early pregnancy. Poor Lily. Poor Ed.

Its a terrible time for any woman but how much worse to have it plastered over the news? I don't understand why the media have no sense of fairness about suspected pregnancies and don't just let the woman in question announce it when she is ready.
Before she had her last baby Jordan suffered a miscarriage. No one knew she was pregnant but someone at the hospital was trying to sell the story to the press so she was forced to preempt it by announcing the news herself. Its sick.

I gasped when I saw the front page of the Sun today. You'd think there wasn't any more important news. I am so disgusted.
