Oh god that's a hard one. I love All Time High and Nobody Does It Better equally. HMMMMM, this is perhaps the hardest decision I'll ever have to make. I'll go for the latter though, since it has a wee bit more oomph and better lyrics.
Special mentions go to Tomorrow Never Dies, The Man With The Golden Gun and The Bassey's ones.Mainly because they're fun to sing in a Matt Lucas on Rock Profiles way. All the hits darlings, all the hits!
You Know My Name was a bit too much Old Man Rock for my liking, though I can see its merits.

I love Carly Simon - so Nobody Does It Better for me
What about Licence to Kill?

I've gone for Nobody Does it Better, but I do love Live and Let Die as well (just not as much). Oh and License to Kill!

Since we are reminiscing
I loved Licence To Kill until the first series of Pop Idol - does anyone remember that idiot Laura murdering it?
'Sofa Queeeeeeeeeen!' Embracing being in the bottom two in every show was just about the measure of her.

I love Bond themes, but they have been complete guff since Goldeneye.
My favourites are: Nobody does it better, We have all the time in the world, Live and let die, For your eyes only, Diamonds Are Forever... oh just a load of them.
But yeah, Nobody Does It Better is the best.

The Man With The Golden Gun gets my vote because (a) it's just a load of smut -"He has a powerful weapon/He charges a million a shot" and "His eye may be/On you or me/Who will he bang?/We shall see" and (b) the film ends with:
Goodnight, goodnight Sleep well my dear No need to fear James Bond is here!
which I think they should have at the end of every film.

Did anyone get that David Arnold does bond themes? Its not great but Aimee Manns "Nobody does it better" and David McAlmonts "Diamonds are forever" rival the originals in my book.

A view to a kill for me.
All time high a very close second though.

God, I'm so unoriginal - I was also torn between All Time High and Nobody Does it Better. I went for All Time High in the end, as I felt sorry for it having no votes.

What about Licence to Kill? Oh my mistake - sorry! and that's a good one too - That's what I was going to vote for! In its absence, I'll take Nobody Does It Better. I can't believe someone actually voted for You Know My Name - the worst thing about an excellent film. To those who mentioned the David Arnold album, some useless trivia - Bjork recorded You Only Live Twice, but at the last minute refused permission for it to be used.

You Know My Name is up there with the best of them but I'm more of a fan of the bombastic, testosterone fueled Bond themes.
The Living Daylights is probably my favourite.
And I think this deserves a mention,
Such a waste.

I voted for For Your Eyes Only in the absence of Licence To Kill, but I'm partial to a bit of Rita Coolidge too.
I was listening to k.d.'s Surrender at the weekend (I can't find my copy of her version of No More Tears with Andy Bell ANYWHERE) and was surprised I knew most of the words.

I have an mp3 of No more tears (Andy Bell and KD Lang) if you want it ?
