Because there's some sort of album to promote Liverpool being the European City of Culture where acts from Liverpool cover classic songs by other Liverpudlian artistes.
They've covered Anyone Who Had A Heart, and manage to make it sound more wretched than Cilla's version.
Edit: The tracklisting as as follows:
1. Anyone Who Had A Heart - Atomic Kitten 2. Needles And Pins - The Farm 3. Woman - Ian McNabb 4. You Spin Me Right Round - Thea Gilmore Featuring Mike Cave 5. Don't Throw Your Love Away - Elvis Costello & Amsterdam 6. 3 Shirts On A Line - Scaffold 7. Whole Again - OMD 8. Relax - Anthony Hannah 9. She Loves You - Sonia Evans 10. From Me To You - Eton Road 11. Starry Eyed - China Crisis 12. Eleanor Rigby - The Real Thing 13. You're My World - Kush Featuring Natasha Hamilton 14. My Sweet Lord - Garry Christian And Desa Basshead 15. A Hard Days Night - Sonny J 16. Day Tripper - Shack 17. You'll Never Walk Alone - Thomas Lang 18. The Power Of Love - Frankie Goes To Holiday Featuring Connie Lush 19. Paperback Writer - Digsy & The Sums 20. Hey Jude - The Real People 21. Imagine - The Talkabouts Featuring Liz McClarnon
Tracks 8 and 9 deserve a thread of their own.

I hope this will shut up all the people who've been banging on for years about wanting them to reform.

I hope this will shut up all the people who've been banging on for years about wanting them to reform. Namely Natasha Hamilton, Liz McClarnon and Jenny whatshername.

No Ian Broudie? And no-one invited Katona to the AK reunion?

No Ian Broudie? And no-one invited Katona to the AK reunion? I think they did! But she said yes, so then they just ignored her.

Just featuring someone else does not change the fact that Frankie Goes To Hollywood are not covering someone else's song. Unless they are doing The Power Of Love by either Jennifer Rush or Huey Lewis and The News. However it'll will be less big air and more hooded claw I fear.

I got given their Feels So Good album free when a Holly Vallance single got sent late - I gave them a selection of female artists hoping they'd choose something appealing, as they had asked. How they sent me that when I listed Siouxsie Sioux I'll never know.
Be With You and the Jenn Frost co-written tracks are really not half bad. Was anyone present at 2005's Big Gay Out where Frost sang live Don't Fuck With Me? Apart from Gina G and the Human League, that was my highlight (oh and Girls Aloud of course before it rained). I'd love an mp3 of that track - it was horrendously amazing.
