Hello. Superman III. A great big pile of muck? Why, yes. Contains the scariest scene in the history of motion pictures? Yeeeessssss!
When somebody's secretary ventures too close to the giant supercomputer in the cave, she gets sucked in, wrapped in wires, and comes out of the machine as the most terrifying creature I, or anyone, has ever seen.
I used to go to a childminder when I was about three in 1983/84, and as a working class person, she didn't care what she showed us on video. So I saw things like V, and Caddyshack, and Superman III, which one would suspect should be okay to show to a three/four year old, but it's bloody not, because i shat myself with fear, and indeed, the memory of it now initiates a little trickle of... forget it.
Anyone agree?
