I was looking on the newsround site, trying to find out how long after the announcement of the title - Order of the Phoenix was made the book was released. Anyway I came across a picture of Robert Pattinson who is going to play Cedric Diggory: Not really what I had imagined. Actually now Ive thought about it he has a slight look of Justin Timberlake about him.

I think he's pretty cute. A nice, open face. Obviously he needs a haircut and a shave, but he should scrub up quite nicely.

Amazing! His dreadful English teeth are almost as dreadful and English as mine!
Who's playing Viktor Krum?

Stanislav Yanevski. Apparently he's Bulgarian but living in London. I'm on the lookout for pictures at the moment.

Ralph Fiennes is to play Voldemort. Hmm. Better than Rowan Atkinson (oh yes, let's cast Mr Bean as Voldemort, what a splendid idea) but the man is a buffoon. Francesca Annis, I ask you.

Oh i can't wait for this film. some scenes in my head are quite ace don't know how they'll live up to being on the big screen though.
Hmmm about the girl who plays Fleur, doesn't look like how i imagined her. But then again i didn't imagine Lupin they way he turned out i nthe film and he was actually good.
As long as the film has Snape is should be ace.

I always pictured Rita Skeeter as Su Pollard. I think it was the description of the mad glasses which did it.

I always imagined Rita to be a bit, I dunno, rougher. You know, a sort of Essex girl transformed into a journalist. I’m thinking Kathy Burke in Ab Fab, or Janet Street-Porter without the speech defect. Miranda’s ace at doing acid-tongued, but a bit posh for me. It’ll probably work though!
The multi-coloured glasses always put me in mind of Timmy Mallet or Christopher Biggins! People who try waaay to hard to be zany.
Despite really great casting across the board, is anyone else worried that the book is just going to get utterly trashed for the sake of fitting the film into less than 3 hours? I expect this film will be ‘based’ on the book, it’s so long.

Yeah. I really only go to see them for Malfoy and Snape, I tend to only watch them once because otherwise the characters look different when I read the book next. It wills till be good and there should be some funny bits.

They've learnt from past mistakes I think. Each film has got much better than the previous.
Nobody can deny the films suck though. I hate that people base their HP opinions solely on them.
When I read the books, the only characters that look in my head like they do in the films are:
Prof. Flitwick Ron Mrs. Weasley Hagrid
