We've been having a discussion at work about what flavours the wallpapers are. None of us can find our copies of it to find out though. One person thinks that they say snozberry flavour and its who ever heard of a snozberry. Another person says its not and theyre getting confused with the BFG and snozcumbers. Anyone know for sure?

It's definitely ''snozberry, who ever heard of a snozberry?'', muttered by a disbelieving Veruca.

I nearly reduced a friend to tears at the weekend by telling him that I didn't think there would be the songs in the new version.
We did a mournful version of 'I've got a Golden Ticket' as omage....
I was scared of the Oompa-Loompas when I was small.

"I never thought that I would be Over the moon on ecstasy But never the less its there that I'm shortly about to be Cos I've got a golden ticket"
Who the hell was that scary kiddy fiddler guy that followed the kids around? He was terrifying.
As I may have told you all before many many time, the screenwriter went on to write The Omen.
And I know Veruca Salt. She's lovely.

he was a mole for willy wonka, he worked for him and tried to bribe the children for their everlasting gobstoppers, and tells old Wonka who agreed. So basically Wonka bumped them off, one by one. When Charlie gave him back the gobstopper at the end of the tour it showed he was honest enough to run the place (?!?!?!?!)
Oh and it was Slugworth.

And I know Veruca Salt. She's lovely. Julie Dawn Cole is really lovely. She was on an Australian show a few months ago being interviewed about her new play that she's doing with an Australian comic who was obsessed with her as a child and went to Britain to get her to appear in his play. The presenter made her say Veruca's line ''I want it...NOW''.

OMG! In the new version Grandpa Joe is being played by David Kelly! He was Albert Riddle, the one armed dish washer, in Robin's Nest! I love him!
