He looked like he'd had beans on toast for his dinner and forgotten to wipe his face. I love him, but he came across as completely insane. No wonder he's anti-drugs, could you imagine him on coke? I thought he was going to implode with sincerity at several points, especially when over-enthusiatically applauding Razorlight, shaking his head in disbelief at their genius. He was like some Yoda character, nodding and chipping in with comments like "inspiring" when Kelly Holmes was taking about injuries.
Tom, you rule!

I loved how Parky got in a dig about that AND ITV showed L. Ron Hubbard's* "Battlefield Earth" directly afterwards. *Mr Scientology

Tom was really pissed off at the suggestion that Scientology is nuts. I can believe that no one actually criticises him about it. He seems quite hardcore, mentally.
The Cruister isn't actually a bad advert for Scientology. I kind of like the concept of a religion based on celebrity and a drug-crazed old dude's ramblings about aliens. So much so that I watched Battlefield Earth.
Please do not believe people who tell you "it isn't that bad". It is. It's not just the poor content, it is so badly filmed and edited: every scene is shot on a diagonal and the cuts to new scenes are so clumsy. Didn't John Travolta direct?

You should maybe change the title of this thread as Tom might sue at the suggestion he was on Parkinson.
