It's an 80s film and I thought it was Sarah Jessica Parker but apparently not. It was called something the most popular girl in school (with a song of the same name) and had this schoolgirl who was unpopular but with a witch's spell became the most popular girl in school. And all the guys carried her bags.

And all the guys carried her bags. All her bags? Who was she, Princess Grace of Monaco?

Teenwitch? It doesn't fit the title you suggest, but the story sounds very similar. www.imdb.com/title/tt0098453/Was rather a good film, I thought. I love the song where she dances at the end.

That's it I think. Yes well the guys carried all her school bags. There was a bit where the song "most popular girl in school" was playing and you saw all these guys offering to carry her school bags and she's walking up and down this corridor.
