Hey all,
Has anybody seen the bit after the credits at the end of Pirates 3? Me and my mate stayed for about half an hour after the 2nd one after being told about the end bit only to be rewarded with some 30 second gubbins about a monkey so this time we didnt bother but Orlando Bloom has said in an interview that they filmed a great bit for after the credits and now im gutted in case ive missed out on something really good! can anyone enlighten me??
Oh the film is good by the way, very long (3 hours) but lots (and lots) of Johnny Depp as Jack which is always good. however, i would like it better if i didnt hate Keira Knightley's face so much. Im sure she's a lovely person but she just has such a punchable mug that i cant concentrate on anything else!

i do tend to agree on the keira knightly front, and orlando bloom can get on my nerves a little too. i'm seeing the film on wednesday, so will attempt to rememeber to stay and watch for anything after the credits.

When will it be okay for me to admit to preferring Will 'wet and wild' Turner to scene-hogging Jack Sparrow? I'm thinking possibly by the sixth instalment I'll be able to voice my support for Orlando without people staring at me like I've just pissed on their Johnny Depp poster. I thought the film itself was surprisingly good. But poor Will. Forced to stay young and beautiful forever, whilst ten year shag Elizabeth gets older and inevitably more prominently-jawed.

It was soooooooooooo long. I nearly lost the will to live towards the end. There were some great set pieces, fantastic set design and some really funny moments. But they really did try to do too much in one film. Elly I'll back you up- Will Turner for me everytime.

I don't see the Turner appeal myself, although Barbossa was making me feel funny on the inside everytime he appeared, that's not normal.
For anyone who missed/can't be bothered waiting for the ending some nice person taped it and uploaded it, im not sure if I should post the link but if anyone wants it I cam pm them it.

I was really bored to start with, but began to love it after the first half had passed. The stuff with the Pirate Lords was good fun (I would have preferred more of Madame Chen or the French fella instead of the fella from Singapore). I also really liked Keira in this film, especially when she became King. Orlando was shit, but I'm used to him being the worst thing in all the amazing films gets roles in so it makes me find him quite sweet. Also, he was prettier in this than the last two.
The big 'final' battles were possibly the most impressive thigns I've ever seen at the cinema. Especially when the boss of the trading company died. Amazing.
Overall, better than Pirates 2 but only a tenth as good as the incredible first film. A lot of the fun was missing in the sequals, and they were far too bloated. They were trying too hard to be epic.

I saw this yesterday and it went on for so long I thought I was gonna die. Sunny days are not meant for sitting in the cinema. Why are blockbusters not on in winter?
I thought some parts were really fun but I did get a bit confused as to who was double crossing who. Were they all on the same side all along? And I was expecting a HUGE sea battle at the end so was a little let down, even though The Pearl vs The Dutchman was amazing. We needed to see Will Turner shirtless.

They are wrong and hairy and dumb to make Will captain of the Dutchman. Couldn't Keira have been made Captain so their could be another film minus Keira so I could have been cast as the token female and maybe persuade the writers to dream up some sort of scene where I possibly get involved in some sort of pirate roast with Johnny and Orlando....

I have no idea what happened in that film at all.

Thank heavens, I didn't really understand it either. I was REALLY by confused the crabs. in fact, the whole bit in Davey Jones' locker was like some sort of weird drugs trip, which was probably quite apt for Johnny Depp.

This might actually be the most tedious blockbuster film of all time. At least 45 minutes too long, bogged down in endless plot strands that go nowhere interesting, shackled by the school-play level 'acting' of Orlando and Keira (this woman was nominated for an Oscar?), desperately lacking in any kind of humour, fun or suspense. Keith Richards' cameo was a pointless exercise, and Johnny Depp's mannerisms were seriously grating towards the end. NO MORE.

I loooooved it! So confusing and my bum did go numb, also I'm not good in the cinema cos I shout at the screen and I did that a LOT in this one, and I also jump up and down in my seat and stuff. But yeah I did ultimately love this film so much. Um that's all.

Can I just say, however potentially good the marriage in the middle of the fight thing could have been, giving it to such horrific actors made it, you know...totally crap.

Keira's eyebrows distracted me. And that thing she does with her jaw too. I saw it in Russia, so at least I didn't have to hear her voice.
