Get Over It is on Ch4 at the moment (double-billed with Mean Girls; well played, Ch4.)
Please tell me I'm not alone in loving this movie to bits? Shane West as an ex boy-bander with a truly astonishing English (?) accent makes me happy in ways I'd be foolish to describe.

My Dunst Dislike stops me from loving it.
Although, Shane West is pretty funny, and Martin Short is hysterical.

I like the end, when they do a souped up version of September.

I adore this fim, I can watch it over and over again, whats not to love? The songs (which i know the words to, rather sadly) Shane West and The Accent (!!!!) Sisqo trying to act And fianlly Ben Foster being adorable in a geeky/vaguely ugly kind of way
Ace brain fluff of a film, really!

I absolutely love it and own the DVD.
Colin Hanks is not at his best I might add. But the musical is amazing. The girl who plays Forrest-Oates' assistant is fab and should have had more lines.
I concur on the Kirsten Dunst hate but she's not actually that bad in this.

I concur on the Kirsten Dunst hate but she's not actually that bad in this. I think Kirsten Dunst is lovely in this. It made me sad watching it on Saturday to think that she is going out with horrible Johnny Borrell.

I really like Get Over It. I got it on video for £2.99 and it seems like one of those films VHS was invented for. It reminds me slightly of newer Simpsons episodes where it was a rushed ending and use a big distraction (in this case, Vitamic C and Sisqo miming to September) in hope that no-one notices the scriptwriter gave up half an hour ago.

You mean to say the scriptwriter was making an effort during the first hour?
Not that this changes the fact it's ace from head to toe!

I LOVE this movie. I saw it at the cinema, and brought it on video years ago.
I adore the beginning, 'love will keep us together'...Dunst singing 'let me sleep' and Shane West's appalling 'when i raizseee may swordd'

I thought it was godawful, but there was a line to the effect of 'get your hand down little Stevie' that makes me love it...
