I saw this on Saturday, I think I enjoyed it? I remember being 'on the edge of my seat' for most of it, I'm not really sure what actually happend. JB has no problem getting into any building, it's just the getting out again where the trouble starts. It's all very edgy.
Will there be a fourth in the trilogy?

I still haven't seen any of these movies yet, and I'm supposed to be watching the latest this week. Will it matter too much if I haven't seen the first two?
I have a problem with Matt Damon movies, ever since Team America. I just can't stop imagining that when I see him.

Now lots of intelligent people seem to like these, so I watched the first one last night on ITV2.
It was OK, but a little dull. Am I missing something?

I rather enjoyed the first one, I think Casino Royale stole a lot of ideas from the first two films, but as the franchise goes on it becomes a bit samey.
You don't have to have seen the first one for the other two to make sense, but it would be better to have seen them if you really want to understand fully what's going on.
Julia Stiles is the link back to the first film, what with her being the Treadstone contact.
I thought Franke Potente was great in the first film and was pleased they had used a european actor when it so easily could have been a feisty californian blonde.
I thought the scene with Daniel Bruhl as Franke's brother was weird, It seemed strange to introduce a new character.

Daniel Bruhl as Franke's brother was weird, It seemed strange to introduce a new character. WHAT?! OK I have 2 free passes for the Vue cinema this weekend and was struggling to decide what to see. I don't want to see that unwanted-pregnancy-is-highlarious thing, so was pondering the Simpsons, but if I can get a Bruhl fix, I'm there! Ooh does he look nice in it? NB Is junky's synopsis sufficient for people new to the Bourne stuff, or should I crack out my boyf's dvd of the first one to be safe?

Junky kinda summed it up there. If you can suspend your belief that a Guardian journalist could even stumble across any knowledge about covert US intelligence operations then the rest of the film is easy to follow.
Bruhl has the pointless role of brother of Bournes dead girlfriend and is in the film for 2 seconds not looking all that hot. It's got to be better than Knocked Up though.

He is only in it briefly but it's totally worth seeing, great film. Quite brutal in places though. And I have to defend Knocked Up, it's definitely one of the funniest films I have seen in ages.

LOVED Matt Damon with dark hair.
Julia Stiles, bless her and all that, really didn't come across as someone who would be given a job in the CIA did she? Her reaction to being stalked by an assassin was like watching someone realise they'd left the oven on

Hmm the 2 second thing is extremely disappointing, but I'm sorry I cannot believe that he doesn't look hot, so I'm completely disregarding that bit of information. As it's quite violent and about conspiracies, it's looking like the favourite for this weekend.
