I watched this tonight. It really is big dumb fun. Nothing amazing, but not quite deserving of the wraith and reviews it's suffered.
Hayden Christensen is as emotive as a table leg, and his chemistry with Rachel Bilson is none existent. Luckily, Jamie Bell is really good as Griffin. Sadly he is only in about half the film. And Samuel L Jackson's "Sisqo" haircut is worth the ticket price alone.
They leave it open for a sequel. Hopefully if there is, it'll feature more of Jamie and stuff like a plot.

It was passable for me. I agreed with people who said that, for an action film, it doesn't really build to any kind of climax.
Unfortunately, I found the Doctor Who preview at the start more exciting than most of the film.

I'm quite tempted to go see this. I'm in a big dumb fun kind of mood at the moment, so things like a finely honed plot and well-written dialogue I can do without. Plus I can just about forgive Hayden Christensen for his generally quite shite acting provided he's in one of his 'looking quite fit' phases.

I thought it was a bit meh. I liked the original teenagers about a thousand times better than the Hayden and Rachel they grew up to be. Jamie Bell was pretty good, but overall I wouldn't watch it again.

This felt like it had been really heavily edited at some point, a la The Avengers. The plot was both virtually non-existent and also quite difficult to follow. Favourite bit was the idea that you can walk in to a bank, as the security guard where the toilet is, and be escorted by him past the bank vault!
