Anyone heard or seen this? It is coming out very soon, and it looks very very scary. ClickMcClickersonYeah, it's another "cam corder viewpoint" film like Blair Witch Project, Cloverfield and Diary Of the Dead but it's getting rave reviews and looks freakin horrible. another trailer, made by filming the cinema audience with night-vision, is here

I saw this last night - EXTREMELY scary, and makes excellent use of the shaky camera. I didn't realise it was going to be zombies, and zombie KIDS! but it was done in the style of the more modern take in this genre, and they're quite enjoyable to watch, as was this - except when I wasn't making urrr uhhh urrrr noises with my eyes scrunched up so I didn't have to see the full horror. What a wimp! Still, along with the Orphanage, Spain are way ahead with the great horrors of 2008. On a slight rant - when did American remakes start taking the piss? [Rec] was out around easter time as I recall, and yet "Quarantine", which looks exactly the same to the nearest t-shirt but no doubt will be god-awful, is out in October. It's so ridiculous and makes me very cross.

I don't understand the need for the remake either, especially in such a short time frame. But the worst thing about the remake... is that unbelievably, it's trailer actually gives away the ending shot of the film.

I saw the trailer for this when I saw the Orphanage. I still might try and see this, or get the DVD, I like Zombie films, and I like Spanish films, so I should like this.
