I was logged in fine, 'previewed' a Beyonce post, then when I went to 'post' it came up 'page unavailable' or whatever.
Anyone else get the same? I could always be barred I guess, but that seems nuts (to me).
Thanks x

There is a message up now. They are moving servers apparently.

Bloody sick of this! All our precious posts gone again. Why did they change servers now? Surely they should've done it before launching the new messageboard again.
And I know this sounds mean and slightly unreasonable but it's highly annoying.

They might have had problems...

These things happen, and most people on there just talk a load of old rubbish anyway - losing most of the posts is no great loss to humanity.

I was thinking that it was getting quite nasty just before it went down. I wouldn't be surprised if he purposefully cleared the posts. Don't worry, they'll be back licking Lily Allen's cunt soon enough.

They probably did have problems. The new site seems to have had a lot of problems anyway. I still really dislike the new messageboards... they're nice and shiny but i'd grown attached to proboards and still prefer them.
And yes, losing all the posts isn't terrible I guess.

They are very elitist and snooty and queeny and they don't like me - but I like Peter who runs it - he's a legend

It's strange how much I love PopJustice.com even though I have to agree with you all on some points. Now the actual nastiness of the forum can be traced back to my original involvement: I invented Dr Bastard to be the antidote to the dull, agree with everything posts that were the norm on that forum. Of course I am nothing like Dr Bastard and I never attacked without a proper reason. I dislike bitching for the sake of it.
BUT as time has gone on (and I reverted to my real name) the forums have become full of 'Dr Bastard Wannabes' (as Steve said recently), the result being that the forum is utterly unreadable. I consider myself to be something of a PopJustice institution! Seriously. I feel I should have been given the task of moderation - some of what happens there boils my blood. The sheer amount of nastiness (yes, some of you will think - 'hypocritical bastard' but seriously, I'm being honest) and general stupidity amazes me. All these bloody 'Rachel is back' threads with links to songs that aren't even Rachel is the worst form of fan manipulation and it's a Rachel fan doing it.
Worse, I have been stalked recently by a moron called HookerJustice. Everytime I post he's right there waiting. It's totally creepy.
I love LowCulture because everyone gets along and it's good. Plus the discussion is of a high standard! It's like that on PopJustice too but recently I can barely post there because music is so boring and most of the 'favoured' acts by PJ posters are in total disproportion to my own. Frank? Christ Almighty.
A PopJustice without me scarcely bares thinking about but that could soon be the reality.

Oh dear, I don't think I shall be renewing my presence on the Popjustice boards. I used to love it, then the Rachel Stevens fans ("and yea, they would brook no dissent that the general public gave not a shit") took over the asylum and I got rather bored.
Are they still talking about Clea over there? All the ace posters (Storm, thisisnotatest, Lovertits, Kitten Mittens, Ain't Etienne, ShariVari etc) seemed to disappear down the back of the internet.

Yes. All the old guard seem to be evaporating and it's sad. Maureen is fab though and of course I still do my bit. I'm actually much nicer than people would assume on the PopJustice forums but Rachel threads still bring out the Bastard in me.

The final straw was seeing a member telling another a poster that they literally hated them, in a Pink thread of all places. Haven't been back since really. I only visit the home page and it's spin offs these days, I still adore the website.

Aww thanks! I'm still there, but like here I'm posting under my real name, as is Dennis (Ain't Etienne). Storm is still around too, he's just insanely busy and not posting as much. No idea what happened to the others, and the board is a sadder place without them. It has gone decidedly downhill - there are a good few people who basically post in every topic whether they have anything to say or not, and that's before we take into account the Clea trolls, spammers, petty arguments etc. etc. On here I'm more of a lurker because I hardly watch any TV. Is that bad?

Worse, some really awful people are posting. God forgive the slight elitism but I preferred it when the site was a lot more...cult? There was a member called Fax Mactor who evaporated into a furious frenzy over some 'gay posts' (as he called them) but personally I would take more of an issue over the psychotic new people.

I don't know if I should bother posting over there. It's all gone a bit rubbish. I don't know if I was ever one of the "good posters" though.
I need to set my bloody avatar again. That's the only thing that's annoying me about there now. I have never posted a lot though so I guess I can't really say much about it going downhill.

I still love the main PJ site immensely and Peter is a complete genius, but yeah, I got fed up with the boards a while ago. I don't really have much to say about pop really I suppose. I do like to bitch about rubbish popstars, but people seem to take it so seriously and really, I don't care that much about Pink or Bono to get into a hardcore argument.
I don't even bother lurking much cos, like other folks are saying, a lot of the cool people whose comments I loved reading have disappeared. There's very little in the way of humour. That sounds a bit selfish - like I want people to make an effort to entertain me - but dammit I DO!

I don't post there anymore, I don't even read the boards all that much. I was Born Under A Bad Song over there from more or less year zero but once Lowculture and Life Itself became splinter boards most of the fun left.
As fun it is, there often isn't all that much to say about pop music.
