I had to share this, my friend David it sent it to me and we've been enjoying it all afternoon. www.ciao.co.uk/member_view.php/MemberId/5076524/SortOrder/0/sortedReverse/0/Start/90Reviews of lots of things written by Sue Magee. She's beyond brilliant. Here's a sample of her prose: "It crept up on us gradually. First we discovered that yoghurt is a pleasing alternative to cream or custard with puddings. Then we found that if you add some cumin it makes a good savoury topping for a jacket potato. A spoonful a day even seems to control a digestive problem suffered by one of our dogs. I found that I was buying more and more yoghurt." xxM

Hahahaha
Oh God and then there's this:
"Sip.
When work gave me up (yes; that was the way it happened) I found that I could no longer cope with the ridiculous amounts of caffeine that I’d been used to drinking. At about the same time Nescafe changed the blend of Blend 37 and frankly I thought it tasted disgusting, so for quite a while I gave up coffee altogether. No other instant came close to the original taste of Blend 37 and it seemed such a waste to make a pot when all that I wanted was one cup of perfectly brewed filter coffee. Then I rediscovered Rombouts Individual Filter Coffees and I indulge myself in a cup each morning.
Slurp."
Hahahah. What a legend.
This has been added to my favourites at work. No longer will I have to suffer the monotony of office life now that I have Sue Magee in my life

I haven't found the chat but I'm thoroughly enjoying the wisdom that Sue imparts
Sue seems, to me, to be the sort of person who would have liked to have put “Yes please!” instead of ‘female’ next to where it says ‘Sex’ and then bring it up as a funny little anecdote at every dinner party she hosts over the next 15 years

Sue is completely brilliant! Her reviews are addictive. I wish I could share an office with her and spend hours discussing dogs and the packaging of Ferrero Rochers. We'd spend many a happy hour perusing the Lakeand catalogue together.
(Where is the Jill chat though?)

Are we sure that she's not a 'comic creation/marketing tool'? Or am I being too cynical?

I officially LOVE Sue. I love how she feels manipulated by the fruit and veg isle in her local Marks and Spencers. Haha
And as for Jill.. What made her realise the difference between living in the city and living in the country...
"The lack of black and brown faces"
What a legend!

I also worried that Sue might be too good to be true, but if she is a marketing tool, then it would just be on behalf of Lakeland and obscure health products for dogs, which would be biazzare.
The concept of reviewing absolutely everything you come into contact with is fantastic. It's like a novel - a novel I really want to read.
I was hoping that the Jill chat would be a bit more saucy, but it reveals a certain grittiness in Sue's journalistic apporach.
