ASOS seem to be a bit shit. They claim they deliver in 3-4 days and won't charge until they've been dispatched. It's day four, I've no clothes (well, from them) and I've been charged. If they don't arrive in time for me to look spiffy on New Years Eve then I shall be annoyed. I realise this isn't as bad as everyone else's stories but I'm a stickler for prompt timekeeping and am increasingly shallow.

Just to let you know I still don't have my Amazon order. They tried to deliver it Monday and Thursday when nobody was in. It is now at the delivery office which closes today at 10.15am!
Like I was up at that time.

I hate how my post office does that, if your not in they take it to this backstreet dive miles away which is open for about 30 minutes.
You can do a thing where you call them up, and for like 50p they send it to your local post office.

ASOS is usually pretty good. I never, ever order from Amazon now if it says 'awaiting product from supplier' or something - it always says it'll be in stock in 7 days and I've waited for 3 months previously and just got fed up, cancelled the order and went to the shops. Amazon are really bad at doing this. If it's in stock then they're not too bad. Usually.

Amazingly, I now have my amazon order.
There were more issues with the delivery office not delivering on the day I arranged, and it trying to be delivered when I was at the delivery office trying to pick it up...
But later today my boyfriend will finally get his Christmas present. Ya for me!

I still don't have my Amazon.com order, and am wondering if it's even worth me contacting Royal Mail to ask about it, since they'll probably say something like "if it wasn't recorded delivery, we don't give a shit".

My ASOS order came yesterday and, as an added bonus, all the tops look frankly amazing.

Contact Amazon, not RM. RM won't give a shit and their contract is with Amazon anyway, not you. Royal Mail only deliver the 'last mile' of Amazon deliveries anyway.

Does it make a difference that it was Amazon.com rather than Amazon.co.uk, though?
(O/T: Gus Honeybun! We tried to get my sister's birthday read out on Gus Honeybun's Magic Birthdays when I was little, but our road had a power cut right when it was supposed to happen and we never found out if she was mentioned or not. I'm not sure she ever recovered from the trauma.)

And Amazon.co.uk comes from Jersey, so that would take about three months in my experience.
