"bitsa pieces bits and bobs bitsa bitsa bitsa bitsa pieces"
I think it was some sort of Art Attack programme, but with less PVA glue and more junk from a rubbish tip.
It had a bloke and woman presenting it and at the end they had to make something before the time ran out on this very weird clock on the wall.
And thats all I can remember
Can anyone help me out?

I think it was called "Bitsa This".
"Bitsa This, bitsa that, Put it all together and what have you got?, Bits n pieces, bits n bobs, bitsa bitsa bitsa bitsa pieces."
It was great, but I can't really remember much about it.
"Strings and things, and lots of .... Bitsa bitsa bitsa bitsa pieces!"

It was like a cross between Choc-a-Bloc and The A-Team. Wasn't it set in somewhere that resembled a rather twee shed and were there dungarees involved?
They probably only made about six programmes, mind. Damn those small children and their poor short-term memories and swift developmental cycles.

I remember this very well, I even sent off for the factsheet from the first series
Gaz Top never presented it though - they were called Simon and (i think) Catelyn?
The task thing involved 10 boxes of differently themed junk... let's see if i can remember them all?... 1. boxes (cereal packets etc) 2. tubes (loo rolls etc) 3. fabric 4. bottles 5. plastic 6. nature stuff (twigs, rotting leaves, dead animals etc) 7. paper and card 8. metal 9. broken toys 10. er... oh yes, balls!
They had some method of choosing three of these boxes at random and would tip them onto the floor, and then have 3 minutes to make a model in line with the theme of that particular episode (monsters, outer space, history etc) - all very exciting (for me anyway)

I loved it when Bista was on. I remember I got a fact sheet. All I managed to make was a metal coat hanger on two pieces of string. And you put the string to your ears and bashed the coat hanger about. It sounded like church bells. I think.

I thought I was the only person who remembered this. It was weird because the folk who presented it looked like weird swampy esque environmentalists, yet they made the most paper wasting confusing crap and kept the local glue factory out of arrears by going awol with those gun things.
Children aren't even supposed to use glue guns, they're potentially dangerous.

But Pritt Stick wasn't exactly going to keep together the houses they built out of cardboard. I used a Glue Gun when I was 7 years old. It was the most terryifying experience of my life.
