A friend of mine has far too much time on his hands and has made a tune that samples Look and Read classic, "The Boy From Space". He thinks he's cashing in on the current trend for nostalgia. You can get the tune HEREWhile you're at it, check out this site dedicated to the best schools' programme in the world. www.lookandread.fsnet.co.uk

I am too excited by that site ! Through the Dragon's Eye was the best school programme everrrr. Charn used to give me nightmares.
Earth Warp and Sky Hunter are the only other 2 I remember clearly. I seem to recall some Frank Sinatra action going on in Sky Hunter. Or maybe I'm getting my songs mixed up.

We always used to call him the 'yoB' from space, I went to so many different schools, and they all seemed to show this programme, it was ace, I wanted silver hair. Dark Towers was the other one I remember. It had Christopher Biggins and Peter Mayhew in it! Does anyone remember a school film about 'Blockaboots' they were hideous platform shoes, I think it was supposed to be satirical, but by the time I was shown this '70's film it was the early '80's and no one would be seen dead in platforms.* *apart from that strange girl with ginger hair called Geri

I loved Dark Towers! I can recall being actually truly frightened by it, and possibly Christopher Biggins. I remember some caper where they disguised a van using magnetic panels.
I do get it confused with Badgergirl tho. And Badgergirl sometimes morphs into Geordie Racer, which was accompanied by a computer game where you helped a homing pigeon home. I was ace at it, circa 1989.
