I remember I used to watch Tots TV (i think i was too old for it at the time). I used to love it though. I thought it was a good idea to have the French tot, to try and teach the little kiddies French. But looking back it must have been pretty shit. rosie and Jim is on ITV right now....
Sac magique, sac magique. -Shhhh Tilly, it's a secret!"

I daresay it'll be on again before very long, the rate things get repeated on there. I'll write it on here in very big letters if I see it coming again.

This is true. And I caught it on BBC 2 a few weeks ago. It was bloody awful and very patronising

The gems of my childhood, along with Fun House, Sooty and Wizadora, Tot's TV was one of my favourite shows at age four.
That Tilly had the crappest french accent ever...

That Tilly had the crappest french accent ever... She actually spoke in French. It was like the children's TV equivalent of Eldorado.

Tilly would say something, and then the other two would say "Yes Tilly, [whatever she had just said, but in English]". It was so highbrow and worthy.

She actually spoke in French. It was like the children's TV equivalent of Eldorado. I thought she sometimes spoke in English, my mistake. Oh well...

Does anyone else feel like they've been brainwashed into learning French?

Sac magique, sac magique. -Shhhh Tilly, it's a secret!" I stopped talking to my best good friend at primary school when he told me that bit of the song was actually "Suck my dick!" in French. It was very distressing. I went to a church school! I didn't talk to him for about 2 weeks and then I decided to forgive him he'd found a new best mate and founded the "We hate Cazza (My school nickname) Club!". I don't think I've ever fully recovered. I need some alone time now......
