Will we ever see it's like again?

Never ever.
But would we want anything like it again?

We could always knock the planet out of its orbit? But that's more of an Angel plot than a Buffy one. Nobody misses Angel.

I miss them both, but not to the extent that I could sit and watch repeats yet. I want new episodes, dammit!
I think I might miss Xena more though.

I had the first three series of Angel on DVD for Christmas. It's like smoking menthol cigarettes.

I think I might miss Xena more though. Xena was always ruined for me by the sheer cheapness of the costumes and locations. I like my ancient greeks sumptuous or not at all.

I miss Angel, but it hurts more because it was fucked about by the channels so it most cases I miss something i've never seen

Televison died a little for me the day Buffy was cancelled. Though Angel Series 3 was up there with classic Buffy.

I loved Buffy too but I prefer it on DVD whereby you can completely ignore the episodes that were a bit shite (and lets face it Buffy fans, there were a fair few of them) and just pretend that none of the rubbish characters (you know who you are Dawn) even existed.

In my head seasons four and six are about ten episodes long and Buffy & Riley dated for about a long weekend. I have forgiven Dawn for her 'rubbishness' in season five because she did exactly was she was meant to do - be an annoying little sister. Having said that, if I was Buffy in 'The Gift' I would've let her bleed out or have thrown her into the glowing blue abyss.

Season 7 started so well though! Which just makes the end of it even more shit.
I don't think I'd hate it so much if it wasn't painfully obvious that they got halfway through it and went, aahhhh crud. How the hell are we going to end this?

I liked season seven. Yes, it wasn't perfectly and did get a bit muddle two-thirds of the way through considering they had a cast of about thirty and only about six personalities but I still really enjoyed it. Plus: Faith! With a sexier voice! And slightly bigger boobs!

True. Buffy on DVD means you can ignore series 6 ever existed (Buffy+Spike= really shit). There were some awful episodes. For example Him in the final series was a rip off of Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered which is one of the greatest episodes ever. Pointless beyond all meaning of the word.

Season six wasn't too bad. Dark Willow was amazing.
Season seven was awful though.
However I still love it. Becoming Parts 1 and 2 remain the best 90 minutes of TV ever.

My favourite season is either season 2 or 5; I know season 2 is probably better but ther were paralells between Buffy's family and my own. Plus it has Glory, and I had Glory hair at the time. To this day my sister still occaisonally describes me as a 'lopsided hell God with a bad home perm'.
The final of season 2 is one of only two Buffy episodes that make me cry. Every bloody time I watch it and all. I actually downloaded the song to desensitise myself to it but no, it still makes me weep like a lovesick fourteen year old.

I hated Season 6. It wasn't so much entertainment as endurance with Sarah Michelle-Gellar wearing more or less the same expression as Gary Lucy did after he got bummed in Hollyoaks for the whole season.
Season 7 I liked for the story arc, and for Chosen, which was a kick-arse way to end the series.
Essentially, however, its glory days were Seasons 1 to 5, although I'm pleased they squeezed more life out of it. I even like most of Season 4, which I do realise makes me a candidate for tarring and feathering in some fan quarters.
