I've just remembered this, prompted by the 'Bitsa' post which I think used to occupy a similar spot in the Children's BBC schedule. It was basically some kind of touring quiz show which went round the country to a new location each week to ask a set of, hmmm... puzzling, questions about said place. Once they went to Bury St. Edmunds, that's almost all I remember. What I do remember though was surely the lamest theme-tune ever:
Is that a fact? Is that a fact? Is that a fact of history? Is that a fact? Is that a fact? Or is it myth or mystery?

Sit in our director's chair and find out. Curiously, when they went back in time, the places they visited were still in their modern-day ruinous state...

You're so right. They even had portacabins in the middle-ages. I didn't realise that.
