In case anybody else is a fan of this fab tale of sisters doing it for themselves in 1920's England, the third and final series comes out on DVD next February.
Loved this series, even though it was impossible to take seriously after French and Saunders' House Of Idiot sketches.
"Oh, Evie. I'm really worried about these missing buttons!"

Brilliant. I paticularly love the way the "To Let" board above the office has been left in shot in the exterior scenes.

Jack!
Jack!
I was surprised Louise Lombard didn't have a bigger career - she certainly was a classic beauty.
But yes, you can't think about it without thinking of House of Idiot.

Louise Lombard was a stunner but sadly if she is asked to walk and talk at the sametime the limitations of her acting become rather obvious (and I say that as someone who watched all of "Bodyguards" just because Louise was in it) but she was guesting in CSI last year.

Well, Keeley Hawes turned up to have the career Louise Lombard would otherwise have had.
She's more or less a regular in CSI now. Nasty highlights though.

This was perfect Sunday evening drama, and I really wanted to have my hair cut into a bob so that I could look beautiful like Louise Lombard. Hmmm, it'd take a fair bit more than that, but I was young and foolish, and thankfully my mum talked me out of it!

I loved it, it was essential viewing as a child.
