Anyone remember this 80's dross with Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For A Hero" as its theme tune?
I had thought this was just an urban myth but it seems it really is true that the thick as a brick beefcake lead actor died after accidentally shooting himself in the head on the set with a stunt gun loaded with blanks.
So firing blanks really can be lethal. Ouch.

Indeed he did, I can actually remember that. He hung about in a coma for a couple of days before popping off.
The show was shit, honest to goodness real mega-poo!

They replaced the actor with another hunk and kept making the show for the rest of the season.
This is the programme that made me gay. Honest.

I think the second actor is also dead. What a jinxed show.

Have just looked this programme up on Wikipedia and I don't remember it at all.
What I do find ghoulish though was the level of detail! Like who the dead lead actor's donated organs went to, or the fact that there was a link at the bottom of the page to a site called Find-a-Death. I didn't click on it.
