Have we had a thread on this? It was about 1986. I seem to remember that there were several children who squatted under a weeping wilows branches. These children were ghosts who had dies in the plague. It was effing brilliant. There were also some really wierd images of St Christopher carrying a child through a storm. I'm fuzzy on the details. I was only 9. Is it a gay phenomenon that we we hold onto these vague memories from strange childrens tv?

Was this shown around the same time as Moon Dial? I remember the BBC went through a phase of showing terrifying dramas at tea-time. I had a strict TV upbringing which meant that my mum refused to allow me to watch a lot of ITV or films like Grease or Dirty Dancing, or even Grange Hill until I was old enough to argue back or just ignore her instructions, but she was perfectly happy to allow me to have nightmares from programmes such as these and then make me read the books as well.

I think it was. The name sounds familiar, but can't remember it. Other scary dramas I can remember are The Box of Delights and something that had something to do with a china tea service which was very confusing and scary. EDIT: I'm not going mad, it was called the Owl Service www.screenonline.org.uk/tv/id/976641/index.html(Note: It must have been repeated a few times, because I'm not that old).
