Has Lowculture taken up golf?
My DVD of Doctor Who - Timelash appears to show lowculture about to go for a quick 18 holes.
....and no matter how they try and sell it it's still a really shit story.

I got the DVD too, it was pretty amusing but certainly one of the all time worst Who's!
The Timelash itself was the funniest bit! Not only the actors obviously walking (not falling!) into it. But the cheap looking inside of it with those plastic crytal things.
I watched so much Doctor Who last week, I watched that weekend of it on UKTV Drama and some videos I got hold of. I've got Ghost Light and Greatest Show In The Galaxy (haven't seen it before) on the way too.

Timelash really isn't the best story ever. Then again, I think Paradise Towers is the most hilariously camp episode ever, and thus love it, so what do I know? (Though it'd be pretty awful if you tried to take the storyline seriously... but it's great as a comedy).

Started watching Lame Shit (as someone once amusing pointed out was an anagram of it) today, and made it to ten minutes. Will try again later. Those terrible bickering TARDIS scenes! I have seen it before, of course, but only the once - something shared only by Meglos and Time-Flight as far as I can think...
Timelash followed by Time-Flight on the DVD schedule, followed by seventeen million Tom Bakers in a row... weird.

I was thinking about Timelash but, looking at Colin Baker years, will probs get Mark of the Rani. Likely to be marginally better and I have high hopes for Kate O'Mara's commentary!

I may be missing something, but why do you need to buy either? They're both awful, but as I'm a proper geeky fan completist I needed to purchase them. Save yourself the horror!

I'm a bit of a geeky fan competist too - I've just been doing well lately and not buying all the DVDs (clearly this resistance is fading).

Nah, get Timelash, I'm on it! You don't have to you know Skillex. The general consensus is that it is not a very convincing performance, bit cheap looking, y'know.

PS, what are you doing on the Timelash DVD? I am intrigued, is it Doctor Who Adventures related?

Not all of them but a lot of them. I also spend a stupid amount of money on stuff from Big Finish, DWM, etc.

I was just thinking that these really should be your last choices, but actually there's a lot of Pertwee shit around too, so oh well.
Big Finish - do you actually listen to them, or are they only bought by 'collectors' these days?

Yeah, I do listen to them. I don't buy them all, though, just the ones which I think will interest me. To be honest, this has mean that the amount I buy has been dropping a lot over the last few years - the line really seems to have been running out of steam for ages.
Probably the only thing I get all of (well, except for the yearly new series box sets and DWM) is the Big Finish Bernice Summerfield line. She was always my favourite companion and the 1990s New Adventures book range from Virgin from which she originated is probably my favourite ever era of Doctor Who.

I have sensibly decided to save money, not be a completist, and just shove it on my Lovefilm list instead.

I've just spend £49.99 on The Key to Time at DVD.co.uk (cheaper than certain other river based online sellers!) and was wondering what fashion statements we'll be getting in the extras this time
