I've just sat through Spagna, Betty Boo and just as I was about to switch away, the bloody Reynolds Girls came on!
I would always rather jack than Fleetwood Mac.

I feel a bit shamed to ask, but what exactly does the phrase "I'd rather Jack" mean. I understand and like the song (although I can't watch the video without thinking of Colleen and Denise off Loose Women), but who or what was Jack?
The word cheesy really annoys me, as it's often said by ironic types to mean 'good but not cool'. I'm sad I missed this though.

That is a very good question. I'm not sure.
The 'Cheesy' was their term, not mine. I'm not very ironic. Just overtly obvious.

Oh I wasn't accusing you - I think most folk on this bored share a similar stance on so called 'cheesy' things often being ace in their own right. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't understand Jack.
While I'm on one about Music Channel names, I get really annoyed when I see Worst Ever Videos and they're showing things like The Spice Girls and ABBA. At least be upfront as call it "Videos and Songs That Are Fine But We're Going To Say Are Awful Because We're Really Cool and Only Like Stuff By Miserable People With Guitars". I suppose that doesn't fit in the top left hand corner though.
