I thought this would be the usual toss you get of a Sunday night, Boyf videod it and I only (reluctantly) watched first part last night. I was expecting a crappy UK version of CSI, and while it was similar to CSI, it was actually rather good. There are quite a few cheesey cop show cliches in it but overall it was realistic enough and was well acted (more Prime Suspect than The Bill). It had a nice gritty feel to it unlike the flash FX of CSI, and Sue Johnston's welcome in my living room any evening. What did you have for your tea?

well it just sounded like I wouldn't like it, but actually I did.
Also last Sunday was the first time I ever watched a whole episode of Coronation Street! I guess I'm just a bit slow to pick up some things.

I've nothing against it, it actually made me laugh quite a lot - maybe every so often I'll tune in, mostly I'm not home in time to see it and I'm not really into the soaps as a genre.

In the last two parter they had James Dreyfus, I hardly recognised him at first (he's filled out a bit and has a beard) but once I did I couldn't help laughing at his over acting, it was like Tom Farell had at last got a big butch acting part. I expected Linda La Hughes to walk in any moment.
I shouldn't really have been laughing he was supposed to be the victim of child abuse.

Thank goodness it wasn't just me who didn't recognise James Dreyfus, and I'd seen the cast list in Radio Times. What I don't understand is, why did Trevor Eve let the murderer's daughter just walk away at the end - wasn't she at least an accomplice to murder?

No. She just fucked that man like for a one-night-stand, but her dad follwed her, and murdered the man. But I think Greta knew it was her dad. And didn't seh kill the policeman? Becasue the killer said he didn't do it, so who did? Pen?? "It's not how I like my semen" "I'm looking for semen" I love this show now. I also like "Without a Trace".

Yes, but she was a victim of child abuse and killed a totally innocent gay man, it's only fair she should be let off. Erm? It didn't really make sense, perhaps he thought she would top herself and save the britsh justice system a few quid from having to take her to trial? It was a bit of a crap ending.

Maybe she didn't kill the policeman. Penn knew the murdered policeman, so maybe it was him. Cos he got a phone call from someoene he knew to tell him to go to the heath. But she must get done for not telling them that she fucked the man in the hotel. At the end Sue Johnston should say to Boyd "What did you have for your tea?". S P O I L E R N E S S When she was on Women Chatting Shit, Clair Goose said she is leaving. I like her.

She did claim to have arrived after he was dead, hence the pool of vomit. And can someone tell me where I know the gay copper from? And so long as Sue (blessed mother of Damian) isn't leaving.

Waking the Dead has got better and better. I wasabit bemused by the WW2one, but the IRA one and the Hippy Hitman one were really well done. Imissed the secondpart of last weeks, which was a bit of a bitch. Can someone fill me in.

I know I'm crap at recognising people, but the girl who arrived with the brother who had just got his PhD, isn't she the one running round in the back of the dreaded Michael Winner ad (I'm not his sister)?

I think Mel deserved to die really - after all, she did shoot that deaf man earlier in the series.

I'm sure I read in the paper that it was the last one in the series last week. So imagine my delight when it came on yesterday. And it was a good one too (as always). I think the Holby nurse turned policewoman has something to do with it. Can't wait for it tonight!

It's a repeat (that's why Mel is alive again and Boyd doesn't have a beard - if you see what I mean). I missed it first time 'round, and although it was good I fell asleep in the middle when the news came on, damm you BBC for copying ITV by having a break for the news.

I was in Russia last week, so you just told me Mel died and I didn't know that. I knew she was leaving though. I think my mum taped it for me, I'll have to have a look. I only really started watching it this series.
