I've said hello on all the others, so I may aswell on this one too.
I'm trollte, and I live in Brighton and I'm at the older end of your target audience.
As far as lowculture goes I like: Mario, Nintendo, games non-specific (even board games), Footie Wives, Bad Girls, Edge, Closer, classic films, film noir, scary films, foreign language films (all a bit high I know), Patrick McGrath novels, Simpsons, anime, Japanese things, Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, too much music to name (electro is currently my favourite), surfing the net.
I don't like: Heat, Eastenders (at the moment), Coronation Street (ever), Peach and Daisy, Saturday morning kids telly.
I'm not a troll. Hearts trollte

Welcome, trollte - it's nice to see everyone from PJLife wandering over here to see what all the fuss is about. (I think I must be the only one who went the other way, as it were).
Just remember that no culture is too low for this board, and you have some pretty good examples there - and I bet you know all the quotes from Whatever happened to Baby Jane?

"You wouldn't do these things to me if I wasn't in this wheelchair!" "But you are Blanche, you *are*" Better quote from this book: Bette Davis to Lauren Hutton: "Guess who just got on the train? That cocksucker Joan Crawford!"

And of course there's always the classic . . . "I am big, it's just the pictures that got small!" Hello there trollte. I bet you've read Mommie Dearest.

Hello there trollte. I bet you've read Mommie Dearest. Naturally! It has a prized place on my bookshelf. For Joan Crawford fans, I can also recommend Mildred Pierce - her oscar-winning finest moment.
