Despite my better judgement, I watched this on Monday night when they set up the interactive vote to decide on whether Jonny lives or dies.
I'm in two minds.
On the one hand, I think interactive votes to decide storylines is a very interesting idea when done thoughtfully.
On the other hand, this is an awful, awful show and if they want me to care enough to vote whether a character lives or dies, the least they could do is come up with a near-death experience for him which is vaguely plausible and not ridiculously contrived and dramatically impotent.
On still another hand (I'm being cross-bred with an octopus), I did find it very funny that on the still at the end where they gave out the phone numbers and had Janet VO-ing in character, she sounded very insincere when she begged viewers not to let him die.
