No, really. If I could only find a straight boy like that... Well I can't find a suitable gay man either so I guess that makes us equal.

How about a LowCulture group on there to pool us all together?

Fucking MySpace. I've had about 25 friend requests today, none of which have had any connection to me whatsoever. I'm getting girly porn stars wanting me to be their friend (in the real-world, yeah, but not online thanks), crap schmindie rock bands (Nirvana? Nirvana! I ask you) and a whole heap of other shite.

How about a LowCulture group on there to pool us all together? I took the liberty of doing so: groups.myspace.com/lowcultureNB: Paul, mods - if this is stepping on anyone's toes etc, tell me!

I don't understand MySpace. I find it all terribly confusing, both in concept and execution.

It's for people with either a desire to show their preened body to thier millions of 'friends' whilst not actually contributing anything to society or those with a mild social anxiety disorder to pretend to have friends despite them being miles away in Arizona or Croydon.
I am the latter, obv.

www.myspace.com/48105167This is me, my profile is a bit new so bear with me. Everyone that messages me is either an indi band or someone after a visa application. I'm putting up other pics soon but I have the same moody expression in all of them.

I hate the MySpazz porno girls! I'm sure I added Rose or some such, just because she was called Rose and her profile picture was pretty. I also added "Donate An Organ (or some such) Foundation" because I felt sorry for them and they were a charity. They are almost as bad bulletineers as I am. Oh yes! MySpazz me... www.myspace.com/gregletI'd add all of you but I don't comment on here nearly enough to warrant any of you knowing who I am.

My brief flirtation with myspace is over. I keep getting shouted at by a random American for not keeping in contact. And I have been scouted by a naked butler service. This is not what the internet was designed for (that is porn and Hollyoaks discussion).

I've just looked at the Lowculture group, and I can't help but wonder if there are any hetero men reading the site.

Yes, he caught my eye too, as did non-Lowculturer, but friend of Paul's, Tom. He lists Russell T Davies as someone he'd like to meet, so must have LC-leanings at least.
It's been a crap day, but looking at the pretty people apparently on Myspace I'm starting to understand it a little more, although not enough to bother building a profile and be depressed if I couldn't get any more than seven friends.

That would be me. Blushes all round. Did I catch you looking at my profile on (ahem) another site which shall remain nameless around these parts? The Myspazz Ruskiswhores seem to have given up on me, thank God, though the dismal indie bands still seem to keep on trying. And for the especially annoying there's always the Block function.

Myspace strikes me as Gaydar with added heteros and different freaks, although not necessarily more or fewer.

Yes, but gaydar is for getting oneself a shag. For what is myspace?

I absolutely love MySpace. It has genuinely revolutionised my life - whenever I'm doing a performance recital (I've got a few coming up) I can just put the news on MySpace, target a specific area with the same interests and let them know and I have people at my gig who in turn bring other people! I have to block all bands unless I like them though. Anyone can add me, just let me know: www.myspace.com/talesofordinarysadness

I mainly use myspace for keeping tabs on ex boyfriends.
Also talking to people who are far away, that i don't know well enough to have their email addresses, but i would like to keep in touch with all the same.
