What is Indie? Is it new? Apparently it's sweeping the nation. I'm non-the-wiser though to be honest

But it's SO MUCH MORE than that! It's an actual legend of the confectionery world. And it tastes nothing like Yorkie. It tastes EXACTLY like Yorkie, it's the same cheap Rowntree's chocolate.

Right, I'm resurrecting this for a few days, because I think a few people are feeling a bit down in the dumps at the moment and need some cheer. No slagging off each other's choices. Raised eyebrows are permitted.
Lovely things right now: - Doctor Who, and especially Donna. And Wilf. And the episode 12 trailers. - All the tunes in the summer music thread in pop culture. Even if it is pissing it down outside all the time. - Prawn cocktail Pringles, even though I don't normally rate Pringles - Being fortunate enough to read your reviews of The Happening, thus not having to go myself.

Oh happy days!
Good things right now:
– The lovely Dale in BB making gormlessness look so very appealing - Everything looking lush and green and beautiful and tempting and practically demanding that you don't do work - A lovely fresh bunch of programmes coming out for the Edinburgh festival, chock full of shows that you just know will be awful, bizarre, hilarious, mediocre, and amazing in roughly equal quantities - Cherries! Big juicy cherries. Loverly.

Oooh, OK
- A punnet of white grapes is just £1 in Tesco at the moment - I have the most exciting deadline of my life (so far) in eight days but I have actually ALREADY FINISHED and can just polish the already-completed work. - My flatmate cleaned our flat from top to bottom today and it's lovely - I am off to London and Manchester next week, two of my favourite places - I'm getting drunk with my best mate tomorrow night while re-watching Doctor Who as I have a week off work - I am going to see Dolly Parton and the Doctor Who exhibition in a fortnight. Yes, Doctor Who finale on the Saturday, and this the next day! Amazing!

- Nougat. It's a delicious treat and a satisfying word. - Cranberry juice - Maps. I love maps. www.maptube.org is fantastic. - The little bus I've taken to riding to work in during the summer. It's dinky, and takes me 45 minutes longer than usual. - The new kitchen in my flat. It's shiny in some parts, matt in some parts, and has a silver floor. Very 'Charlotte Perrelli'. - Zipping around London supporting Euro 2008 teams with their fans. - London, London, London - in summer, it buzzes.

Probably the former, but my 'a' sounds don't have 'r' sounds with my Irish accent.

-The fact that the vending machine in my offices has changed over the weekend from one that contantly breaks leaving me having to pay twice to get my stuck item out of the machine, to one that breaks constantly, leaving me with two packets of crisps for the price of one.
- The fact that Radio 1 has started to play "Miss Independent" by Kelly Clarkson constantly, for no reason I can discern.
- Getting to see Daniel Boys perform in London this weekend for freeeeeeeee.
- Going to see The National in concert in a week's time.
- My friend who I've not seen for a year coming back from India
- My work-bus being rerouted next month so I don't have to be driven past a crematorium every day.

-The fact that I don't have to sit any more exams until June 2010 -The List Magazine. I don't know why, it just makes me feel happy -Casualty on iPlayer, so I can go out on Saturday nights -Oatcakes -the fact that my dad's job means I get free cheese. I love cheese. -Buying random things in Savers/Semichem/other cheap chemist-y places just because they're cheap and might be great, you never know

- My Glastonbury ticket FINALLY CAME! So now I can feel relieved and excited and think about where I'll be in 48 hours time. Which is probably walking a few miles to find a camping spot and having arguments about the tent, but it will still be brilliant cause I'll be at Glastonbury - I'm going to see Russell Howard at the Fringe and I'm verrrrrry excited. He is lovely. - My lovely new dress, which I plan to wear with wellies: i11.photobucket.com/albums/a164/superbloodysarah/005-1.jpg- The fact that I keep having brilliant dreams lately. Even the scary ones are brilliant, they're so vivid. This morning's one had me looking after Amy Winehouse and some purple cats. - My friend can drive now and has a rich/foolish father who bought her a NEW car which is just lovely, and it's fun to go places in. - There's a box of Kraft Cheesy Pasta sitting downstairs with my name on it - There's a new Charlie Brooker column waiting for me to read!

Currently making me happy (and these are things I must concentrate on, to help outweigh all the things making me feel crappy)
- mocha light frappachinos. i'm thinking in weight watchers points here, and a grande is reasonably pointed
- memories of seeing some of my favourite musical people ever this year so far, including John Mayer next week (even if I am going alone and have lost a whopping £30 on a ticket)
- Reading festival is mere months away! Just thinking about running around at night and dancing around police officers to the Bill theme tune is putting me in a great mood
- recently having an Aden-off-of-home-and-away lurve dream. Brilliant.

- The holiday I go on in 11 days in a Big Brother-esque villa in the Spanish hills
- Chop'd - the salad bar that I will frequent for the next 10 days before I go on said holiday
- Kylie in Manchester very soon
- Eurostar tickets arriving for our Paris piss-up
- N*E*R*D's new album
- Stuart in Big Brother wandering arounf half nekkid every night(I'm the only one who sees it, so he's mine all mine)

Lovely, lovely weather and iced starbucks. Except I am ever so slightly heartbroken that there's no sign of the beautiful Banana Java Chip thing. I adored those last summer. I tried a Banoffee Frescato from Costa last week, and it was so not worth it.

I tried a Banoffee Frescato from Costa last week, and it was so not worth it. I'm just glad that Strawberries and Cream is still being used, 6 years after it was introduced as a summer temp. I'm not liking what they've done with the Chocolate Cream Fraps though, so now I have to add a shot of espresso to make it right.

- Losing over two stone in weight. Feeling, for the first time in years, flattered, not confused, when men smile at me in the street. Buying size 14 clothes that look good, really good. - The Pret A Manger that recently opened in Southampton. Friendly staff, plenty of seats (because everyone goes to KFC, innit?) and the most gorgeous sandwich selection known to man. Avocado Chicken Salad is the taste of summer! - Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson. - Looking forward to seeing Rufus Wainwright in less than two weeks. -And after that, looking forward to seeing my uni friends, mostly, but also Muse at the V Festival. - Having a job for September, even if it is at the school from hell. And moving back in with my parents but not feeling rotten about it, because I'll be saving so much money. - The cast of Gossip Girl filming again, and all the pretty pictures beginning to trickle in as a result.

- Discovering parsnip crisps. They are the best crisps ever. - Mamma Mia! The Movie coming out in a few weeks. - I finally managed to get round to checking the bank balance of savings account I had as a child. My dad told me I had around £300 pounds in there. I had £898.51! - Going to the cinema in the middle of the day when its nearly empty. - Mary Portas. - Richard and Judy being back on TV.

- Going to the cinema in the middle of the day when its nearly empty. Yes! I'm like this in shops now too, I'm not used to shopping at the weekend any more, I like not having to barge past crowds. I find cinemas in the daytime really relaxing and calm and just lovely.

I've been informed there is a Krispy Kreme in Manchester. A mere half hour train journey away, there is delicious apple cinnaomon glazed cream filled custard summer fruits goodness. This pleases me inordinately. I still grieve for my short sojourn in Bromely because I had Krispy Kreme on my way to uni every morning, even though I didn't have a proper place to live or anything.

There is! It's all Americanized and everything. You can get the free city bus to it from the station if you're lazy.
