All because I'm a big bag of nervous. I've got Rescue Remedy on hand for tomorrow, but I'm thinking I may have to do a George Michael to have any chance of being calm enough to pass. I'm not sure a shit duet with Mutya is the answer, Dunkley. Pop culture references aside, good luck for tomorrow! Oh there's no need to wish me luck, since after searching nonstop for the last 3 hours I have pretty much realised that my much needed provisional driver's license is very much lost. Needless to say I'm just slightly annoyed, I actually tried to punch myself earlier. I'll go and look some more.

Nope, so there won't be any test now. I'm such a tit, I think I must have accidentally binned my wallet or something equally daft, having searched the whole house and phoned round places I've been the past week.
My mad aunty had to cancel her driving test the one time because she'd forgotten where she'd put her keys. She's now basically Petunia off Dinnerladies, but more mental. I don't want that as my future.

On my first test when the instructor told me to pull over where it was safe, I chose some pretty double yellow lines. I knew the moment I got in the car I was going to fail, she is a legendary monster at our local test centre. I live in London now though and the bus/train/tube is (usually) my friend. I was the kind of person who took 2 and a half hours to make a 50 minute journey so I cant say I miss it much

Well, I just failed my theory test. That takes a special kind of fuck-up, doesn't it? And it was all so unfair: I got full marks for the theory section. It was that buggering hazard perception nonsense. I still don't understand when the hell I was supposed to be pressing it.
I think the train + 2 mile walk is becoming a likely option for September.

The hazard perception test is a bugger. I took about 3 attempts to pass that. This is where my timing theory comes back in to it. The first 2 atte, pts I took during the week on a morning, then the third I took on a Saturday morning. I'm convinced that they have easier tests for people on a saturday because people who go then are less likely to have time to spend arsing about redoing it. I support this claim with the fact that the marks I got for the last time were substantially higher than the other two which I only just failed on, and I did no practice or anything in between.

Everyone gives me such indignant looks when I say I haven't learnt to drive yet. I'm only 18 for God's sake and I live in London with the view to go to a city uni in a years time. Also, it's not like my mother would ever let me near the car even if I did pass! Why does everyone make such a big deal of learning to drive anyway, especially if you don't need to, I'd rather spend the money on much prettier things, frankly! One of my friends passed her test her test first time round with no minors at all, frankly I find it very disturbing someone is able to do that. Though I am grateful to her for driving me about 700 miles in 5 days for our little trip to see some houses last week, though the constant car/speed/lane conversations between her and another recently passed friend did start to grate after a while!

Well, I'm in my early twenties and I've never learnt. Mum's put aside a couple of hundred to help, but it won't get me far, so I'm waiting till I've got a job to enable me to pay for the lessons, and time to learn all in one go rather than learning a bit one year and a bit the next. I don't feel I need a car at the moment, either, lifts are still gratefully received but it's not like I live in the arse end of nowhere.

I have my driving test today, i've been going over the show me/tell me questions for ages now and none of them seem to be sticking. It's making me nauseous.
Plus it's really foggy outside today which isn't helping.

Yikes, good luck - I'm so scared of having to do a driving test that I've got to the age of 29 without ever learning!

I failed. For some reason I decided to reverse onto the cornor instead of around it.
It was weird I had a trainee instructor in the back, I blame this due to the fact I didn't even let my instructor come with me cause i've never driven with anyone there before.
On the plus side my examiner wat hot.

Couldn't you have offered the hot examiner sexual favours in order to pass?
One of my friends actually did this... she still failed.

Not to scare you, but I was in a car crash today and it's put me off driving. Not that I was going to have the money to do it in the first place.
