I'm doing a quiz and am stuck on the following pictures. Please help! I will give karma for answers (although that may take some time because of the one per hour rule). Update: This are the ones I still need to get. Thanks everyone so far for helping! TV & Film: 2. Literature 3. 6. Sport 1.

Becky, I am heartily disappointed in you for not recognising Uma Thurman. Rectify this immediately with an afternoon spent watching Batman & Robin, Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bill films.
FUNFACT! Uma Thurman is on lots and lots of billboards in Kenya advertising tyres.

If I didn't know better, I'd say No 3 in Literature was a younger Jim McDonald

I think 4 in Current Affairs is Barack Obama. 6 in Sport appears to be an England cricketer - I'm not sure but I would guess that it's Paul Collingwood.

Did you ever find out the answers to this Becky? I was especially intrigued to know who is. It's a woman, right? Dressed as John Lennon or Paul McCartney or some other Beatle? The background suggests an American Idol esque show for some reason (it could suggest any show, if I'm honest)

I've only got a couple of questions left now, and about a week before it closes, so if anyone can tell me the answers to any of these or knows who the remaining pictures are of, I'd be grateful! I'm hoping by spoilering these no one can come along and steal the answers. I dont mind any one on here using them though. 1. "He made U-turns on a busy street, crashed through safety barriers, crossed road divider markings and failed to signal a single turn." This is a description of a character once voted the worst driver ever on TV. What is the character’s name? 2. Who said that she always gave money to charity for each and every fan letter that she did not reply to?
3. According to the Bishopton Parish Register of 1752, John Wright remembers having seen fairies draped in green and tells how they brought his mother what?
4. A former member of which band held the title of Miss Wiggle in 1984?

Yes Adrian. You all can enter but I think anyone outside the north east can only get a top prize of £50 or something.

The answers are: Duncan Fletcher Terry Deary Barack Obama Emmanuelle Chriqui Richard Guest Chris Donald Marie Fredricksson Mary Shelley Matt Ridley Emmy Rossum Jessica Ennis JRR Tolkien Nicolas Zarkozy Tea Leoni (the picture is from Fun with Dick & Jane) Bob Geldof Colin Dexter Michelle Wie Steve Fossett Joe Worsley Joe Calzaghe Kim Wilde Uma Thurman Pam Ayres And the questions: 1. "He made U-turns on a busy street, crashed through safety barriers, crossed road divider markings and failed to signal a single turn." This is a description of a character once voted the worst driver ever on TV. What is the character’s name? Batman 2. Who said that she always gave money to charity for each and every fan letter that she did not reply to? Enid Blyton 3. According to the Bishopton Parish Register of 1752, John Wright remembers having seen fairies draped in green and tells how they brought his mother what? A pound of butter 4. A former member of which band held the title of Miss Wiggle in 1984? Tight Fit (Denise Gyngell was Miss Wiggle 1984) Thank you to everyone who helped. My total score was somewhere between 273 - 276 out of 300 depending on how generous they are with slightly different wording of answers. The winner usually gets around 290, so I very much doubt I won anything, although the winners are announced next Saturday.
