Just to be shown how it works though, by Andy-B. Does Andy-B work there, or is that a gaydar 'handle'? I'm not one of the official Lowculture FatFighters (although I'm here for words of encouragement). I too have been to the gym.

And whoever said these people would sound bored, they were right, I felt myself falling asleep. I have my '1-on-1' on Saturday, what should I expect?

I have my '1-on-1' on Saturday, what should I expect? When I had my complimentary training session, a crazy Russian lady weighed me, took my blood pressure, checked my BMI and all that gubbins, talked about my "goals", and then basically saw how fast I could run and how long I could run for, how fast I could cycle and how long I could cycle for, etc etc. Then she drew up a training plan for me.

I went to the opticians. It won't make me lose weight, but new glasses will make me feel pretty.

Oh I don't like the sound of this. It all seemed a bit hard as I stood and watched today.

I went swimming yesterday and walked a good few miles today. I didn't buy a cheap pizza in the supermarket because pizza has stupidly high amounts of calories and fat. I can't go swimming today, though, because I gave blood and apparently you can't exercise for 24 hours afterwards, which is a total result shame.

I'm now going to call the chunky-but-fit guy that works down my pool Andy Big Tool. I'm going there tonight so will probably have a little inward chuckle whilst face down holding my breath. I give up after doing 30 front crawl so might just roll onto my back for a bit and try not to, literally, think too hard about my unofficial Andy Big Tool.

Feelslike Jill: to put ON weight healthily, nuts, seeds, meats, avacados, full fat yoghurts etc are all syupposed to be good - and going to the gym.

I walked to town and back instead of bussing it. Hope an hour and a half of walking will burn off the pringles I had at lunchtime.

When I had my complimentary training session, a crazy Russian lady ... drew up a training plan for me. My first trainer was a Russian lady. She wasn't crazy. What was her name? Mine was something like Iliya. I felt quite guilty when I left and fobbed her off with a story about me moving to Finland. She seemed genuinely interested in my move to Tampere.

I am a failure. I had an argument with my boyfriend and took it out on myself by eating two slices of toast with Nutella on. I have failed you, FatFighters!

If someone has a bad nut allergy, does Nutella burn their skin?

Hello, my name is Carly and I'm a bit slow on the uptake.
I would like my tummy and thighs to be a bit less wobbly following Christmas and to actual make some use out of that M&S Introduction to Pilates set that was left for me by Santa, presumably being ironic. Fat git.
The best wintery low calorie, low fat food stuffs I can recommend are Heinz lentil soup and home made veggie chilli - can post a recipe but its not much beyond a tin of tomatoes, assorted veg, kidney beans and volcanic levels of chilli powder.
Also, I plan to get up before uni and particpate in Yoga TV which the Diva Channel shows at 7-8am, mostly so I can again get so bendy it freaks people out.

There aren't vigorous enough! You need a jumping about, arms waving workout, like Davina's. Judging by her constant gurning, it's quite intense; you'll lose those extra pounds in days!
