I've always wanted to have my fortune told, just out of interest, so I was wondering if any of you have had yours told and did it come true?

I was told by a tarot card reader at uni that I considering a few career options during summer 2005 and would choose the most profitable.
Given that I was graduating a week later and grasping for cash, I think her intuition may have been given a helping hand.
I much prefered the mental Australian I ended up spending NYE with that year, who told me my 'spiritual guardians' included a viking.

Charlie Brooker HATES psychics. Probably more than anything else in the world.
Do you want to upset Charlie?

No...
But I do so much enjoy the thought of being spiritually stalked by an invisible ancestor far more than his rare off-target columns when he's obviously been pursuing Aislyene more than he's been concentrating on being grumpy and watching tv LIKE HE SHOULD BE DOING.
(that's got nothing to do with jealousy at all. Well, maybe an oversized smidgeon).

Madame Romany read my crystal ball for a fiver in Cardiff Market a few years ago (the same day I saw Sharron Davies in fact).
She didn't really predict my future, but did guess well about my past, correctly guessed that I wasn't a ladies man, and told me that I was going to work in communications in London, which was the same thing as she told my friend, Big Hair Claire, who went in after me.
I am not working in communications or living in London, but I've been to London and do communicate with people in my job, so maybe she got a bit confused.

I would be scared to go to a psychic, in case they said something scary.

My Mum goes and sees a woman called Pauline quite regularly, to tell her what's going to happen.
Apparently I am going to Africa sometime soon. Which will be nice for me.

I watched a sort of mini documentary a few weeks ago on channel 4 about a girl who went to some far off place travelling or something when she was about nineteen and saw a highly regarded psychic, who predicted that she would die in a car crash a few days before her twenty fifth birthday. She completely accepted this and from then on lived her life as if she only had five years to live, trying to pack a life's worth of experiences into this short time. The film followed her in what she believed were her last few weeks of her life, breaking up with her girlfriend and telling her she'd been seeing other people too, going back to her childhood home, saying goodbye to all her friends. It was really moving and quite bizarre. Needless to say she didn't die at all.

Lesbians are so rubbish.
My aunt goes to psychics and is proper "spiritual". She showed me a photo she took of some family and friends and claimed a pinky-orange glow in the space where her recently deceased mother-in-law used to sit was her spirit showing up on the camera. Obviously it was a finger over the edge of the lens.
