Was ace, then went shit and folded. I think the decline started when they put that twat Kerry McFadden on the cover, and as I recall the last ever issue had the three munters from Atomic Kitten on it. Nuff said.

I used to love Sky. Got it every month without fail.
Looking back on it now, it was a pile of utter shite. But I loved it all the same.

I found some old issues in my cubby hole* when I moved house and indeed some of it was crap-ola. But I think Dear Karen made up for it.
*yes, a cubby hole

Dear Karen was amazing. My favourite problem ever was the transvestite who was in love with his granny. Genius. I was highly enraged when Karen was relegated to half a page towards the end.
They used to feature such ace bands: allSTARS, Steps, Girl Thing and they were one of the first magazines to put Posh on the cover.
I always used to get disturbed at the Friends Who Sleep With Each other section however. They were always such ugly munters that they couldn't get a shag any other way.

aww...Sky magazine. I really used to love that. For a long time I thought it was a TV listings thing for 'Sky', much like 'Just Seventeen' was only for over 17 year olds (I used to feel dead hardcore buying that. arf)
Sky though... ahh. I seem to remember a particularly disturbing cover featuring Chris Moyles dressed as Posh Spice. Or not dressed. Brr.

I've still got the first 30 or so issues of this. Is that really sad ?
Ok, don't answer that.

one of the things I loved about Sky magazine was when I was a young teenager in deepest darkest Kent, thinking I was the only gay in the world, Sky magazine always had loads of gay personal ads in the back of the magazine, which I used to read because it was nice to know that I wasn't alone.
Was always far too bloody scared to actually reply to any of them, mind.

I had a pen pal from Amiga Power magazine. We lost contact, but I always wondered what happened to him.

I always used to get disturbed at the Friends Who Sleep With Each other section however. They were always such ugly munters that they couldn't get a shag any other way. my second favourite part after Dear Karen, I still fondly remember one about art school students having a bit of same sex confusions - the boys got it on while wearing cord trousers, still an attractive mental image if ever there was one looking back they probably made it all up for the money
