Hello, I am currently unemployed a housewife unemployed (can't decide which sounds worse). I'm getting the local papers to look for a job but what days do the nationals have job sections? And is it worth looking in them cos I always thought they were for CEOs and stuff.
thanks

The Guardians the best for jobs. Mondays: Creative, Media, Sales, Marketing, PR & New Media Wednesdays: Public Sector, Health and Social Care, General Thurdays: Science and IT They are national classifieds, but have a strong London, SE bias, so you might find there are only one or two vacancies come up a week you could apply for. You could also try: - www.jobsite.co.ukwww. fish4.co.ukwww.monster.co.ukAll of these are national databases which allow you to search by region. Of course it all depends on what kind of job you're looking for.

The guardian social bit only seems to be jobs. Which is quite amazing considering it's like 50 pages.
