I bought this just before Christmas as our stupid Tescos had run out of Radio Times and I couldn't be arsed to search the town for a copy.
What a load of downmarket bollocks - it just goes to show what an ace publication the Radio Times is. The TV Times went in the recycling bin after five minutes and I found an RT the day after.

Snob. I always get the Guide free on Saturdays. Because I'm cheap. It was better when Jim Shelley did Soap/Tapehead though.
At home we always have tv quick. It makes the tv times look like Dickens.

Actually it's made me realise that I buy the RT for the articles at the front (and the word game) as much as for the listings.
I know my commented sounded snobbish, but the TV Times was patronising to its readers and assumed that all they would be interested in would be the Soaps and Celebrity Big Brother.

It didn't really sound snobbish. More right I suppose. Still soap updates are what you need if you ever miss an episode, as you won't understand a thing. The same premise doesn't work with Nazis: A warning from history.
