All very predictable of course, but the one entry that stood out was the Minipops one. What on earth were they thinking? A small child plastered with makeup singing Bananarama, lyrics such as "When we made love", then the (now grown-up) minipop said that their songs were censored so that they didn't sing anything provocative! Very, very disturbing. They were better than Bananarama however.

I loved the 'Pingu Gets Pissed' one. I must have missed the episode where Pingu trades his fish for hard liquor, gets smashed and then pisses all over the bathroom floor. God, kids' shows really were subversive back in the day!
I didn't see the whole show (only top 20), so I didn't see if Ant'n'Dec on the SM:TV made it. My favourite moment ever from that show was the whole Pokemon battle which startd with a Xtina v Britney battle and ended up with the 'Brian from Westlife' killer blow. Dec screeching 'Bri-an, Bri-an' is one of the best TV moments ever.

No they didn't, unfortunately.
It was also nice to see someone telling Peter Andre he was a commercial whore. I thought that was putting it mildly as it barely touched on the bloke's lack of talent, but there you are.

What on earth was the children's horror programme that made about number 39? A child drowning in shit while his friend crashed a tractor and another one just screamed "MUMMY!" off camera while we filmed a creepy farmhouse.
I'm going to have nightmares for months.
I also liked the sheer number of evil phone-in callers who were immortalised as great moments. Small children battering Five Star/Peter Andre/Margaret Thatcher. Where are the kids insulting Westlife on the phones, eh?
