I have never seen this, or heard of it, before. Chances are I will never see it again, as it is on CBBC in the mornings. But I can categorically state that the episode I saw this morning was the highlight of my week.
It's a show entirely composed of dreadful kid's-TV cliche: a FAMILY! THe surname is STEVENS! How PUNSOME! They're WHACKY! There's TWO kids! One LIKES school! One DOESN'T! Oh my God!
Today's episode saw the girl (who LIKES school!) suffering from a fever but determined to go to class and deliver her science project. Because of her poor addled brain, she kept seeing the day as a musical. The highlight was her presentation, which turned into a toe-tapping choon containing the immortal verse, "We went to the moon in 1969 / Not 1970 but a year sooner / We went to the moon in 1969 / And the landing that we made there, it was lunar." There was also a song about how much they hated gym which featured the kids all banging their heads on the lockers in time to the music.
Clearly this ranks as a TV moment somewhere above the musical episode of Ally McBeal and just below the musical episode of Buffy. Don't suppose anyone's video recorder fucked up and they accidentally have this on tape? I must see it again.

The main boy is in I, Robot. I've seen this many times before. It is quite great.

There's TWO kids! One LIKES school! One DOESN'T! Oh my God! There's three. The older brother is almost never used, but there are definitely three children. Resident No-Life Kids TV Expert signing off.

The only kids TV I watch is Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire.
But Even Stevens is best because it is funny, rude and a bit weird.
Beans rules.
