I've heard the Navajo/Ukrainian rumours as well. Apparently they were considering using a real but obscure language, but couldn't find enough voice actors.
I am LOVING this. The woohoo is so much better than "playing in bed". You can make them make out, smooch, kiss, woo hoo, try for a baby, and you can propose that someone stays the night.
I also enjoy the "play" option on the sofas. You can leave even a Granny Sim happily bouncing away for a couple of hours.
I have had problems with crashing - two of my sims will be stuck in an attitude of dance forever, and with clashing aspirations. Mum wants to bonk everything in sight, and her son just wants another baby. That could be because I couldn't make the first one do her homework and she got taken away by social services.
I know all this makes me sound unbelievably sad, but I shall paraphrase an article I read yesterday. What can you say to a Sims addict? Get a life? They've already got six.

He mustn't have been looking hard. I've got a 3GHz PC but the game runs quite jerkily. I must have a shit graphics card. I don't like it when they make games so that mostly only people with brand new computers can play them properly.

This is so much better than Sims 1! The graphics, the camera, plus the aspiration metre gives it a lot more shelf life that 1, which I always got bored of after a week. I love how the teenagers get zits and the little rewards you can get if you keep fulfilling their wants. I'm not looking forward to the first sim I made dying soon, though.

Got this for Xmas and after buying a new graphics card and some extra RAM (ah, I would've needed some soon anyway...) I'm soo hooked. I love the aspiration things, although the Sim 'me' currently wants to WooHoo with 5 different Sims (!) ... I'm getting worried about them getting old and dying too! I must get more Elixir of Life!

Yay! I finally have the Sims 2!
And it is everything I ever dreamed of.
I'm loving the couple in Strangetown, with the scientist and his contraptions, who live with "Nervous Subject" who has a little room under the house and is consitently in a red mood.
And Don Lathario is rampant.
I like the Romeo and Juliet situation, but only because Mercutio and Tybalt have proper punch ups.
