It's getting near christmas (in advert land) so surely it's only a matter of time till Coca Cola role out the old favourite! holidays are coming.... holidays are coming...
Maybe i've already missed it but i doubt it - if you see it report it here and christmas can officially start!

It's normally the first xmas advert after the Park savings one (which doesn't really count). But there's already one (Boots??) with Harry Hill... Coca cola are being slow.
Coca-cola used to do the whole song;
"Watch out! Look around! Something's coming, coming to town [coming to your town]! La la la la la....."
But the last few years they have cut it short to just;
"Holidays are comin', holidays are coming..." "La la la la la, always coca-cola!"
Still gets me as excited as a 6 year old though.

Not wanting to be a spoil-sport, but you have a few weeks to wait yet.
Coke know that most people complain about Christmas adverts starting to early, so for the last few years they have waited til the end of November before starting. I suspect they will be starting on either the 19th or 26th of November this year, and there is a chance it may even be a new ad, and not the 'Holidays are coming' one.

Park have already started advertising for Christmas next year. I always find that off putting. You think "oooh i'll save for christmas" then you realise that it's for next year and then can't be arsed. Because that seems ages away,

Saw it last night and it's "Holidays R Coming" the '04 Remix.
I still prefer Pepsi.

It's not as good as the one where the little kids run downstairs and see that Santa is delivering their presents. They're scared at first but then he sees them and they run into his arms for a hug.

On the slightly OT subject of scary Santas, Gloria Hunniford (bless her) has a very very scary robot Santa which she was showing off on This Morning. It's life size and sings, and she thinks its great but it's really not. It's evil and I'm slightly worried she will leave her door open and it will come and pull out my eyes on Christmas Eve.

I've seen it now! It's not as good as everyone running out the house to see the trucks go by
