For the Toys 'R' Us theme. I really want to hear it and was wondering if anyone had it. Really appreciate it... Y'know, "There's millions says Geoffrey, all under one roof, it's called toys r us, toys r us, toys r us!!!" Can anyone with it please use this to send it? www.yousendit.comI know it's quite sad, but that's me.

For years I thought it was "There's millions of debris all under one roof..."
Which doesn't make grammatical sense, but to my defence it isn't clear that there's someone called Geoffrey (the giraffe) involved.

I'm sure it was Millions OF Jeffreys all under one roof and the advert showed all the staff as Jeffreys stacking up the shelves. As i've lowered myself to Toy R Us christmas staff I can report that I have yet to see Jeffrey and someone falsely told me they don't even use Jeffrey anymore!!!

It was: "There's millions!" says Geoffrey, "All under one roof". The complete lyrics: There's a magical place We're on our way there. With toys in their millions All under one roof. It's called Toys "R" Us!
Soon after bedtime When dark night-time falls Geoffrey and helpers Stock up on the shelves. From ceiling to floor Books, board games and bikes. Teddies, puppets and dolls. Bats, spaceships and trikes. "There's millions!" says Geoffrey "All under one roof". It's called Toys "R" Us, Toys "R" Us, Toys "R" Us.Incidentally, if you need to find things out, or settle arguments, www.google.co.uk is often a good starting point. Paul x

During these lyrics: Soon after bedtime When dark night-time falls Geoffrey and helpers Stock up on the shelves. From ceiling to floor Books, board games and bikes. Teddies, puppets and dolls. Bats, spaceships and trikes.they talk about the offers in the store, and don't sing at all. Hence the confusion about who Geoffrey was, where he came from and his importance in the store.

I knew there was a Geoffrey, but it didn't register. There IS millions of debris all under one roof though. Millions of toys and stuff. I don't think I was that wrong.

I don't think I was that wrong. Exactly. I kind of thought it was wrong - after all would you really call toys debris? - but i never cared enough to find out what it really said. ... that was until we discussed it in my first year of uni a few years ago (as you do) and i discovered the truth.
