This ad is just brilliant - I've even downloaded it from their website and keep playing it. The music and dancing are just great, but I was very surprised to find out it's Nina Simone's "Ain't Got No/I Got Life" from 1968.
Especially with the line "Got my sex".

It's a lovely ad - beautifully shot, and with great choice of music. Nina Simone had such a qonderful voice, she's always been a favourite singer of mine.
I wouldn;t be too surprised about the lyrics though - they may be from 1968 but they are from the Hippy musical Hair
Only one bad thing for me (in advertising terms) is I've seen that ad tons of times, and love it, but never have a clue what it's for, so it's not doing its job properly. Not quite sure how on earth it's supposed to persuade me to buy yoghurt either.

The fact that you are discussing the advert means that the advert has worked. You don't have to go and buy the actual product for advertising to work (Although that is the main objective)
I love the advert. I wish i could dance like that. My favourite dance is the women at the bus stop.

Not quite sure how on earth it's supposed to persuade me to buy yoghurt either. Same here actually - I saw it the other night and thought it was fab, then spent almost every waking hour watching ITV to try to catch it again as I couldn't for the life of me remember what the ad was for. The women at the bus stop are good, aren't they? My fave is the slightly overweight bloke dancing in front of his children to "Got my liver". I even like the baby smiling (which is usually enough to put me off any ad).

You don't have to go and buy the actual product for advertising to work (Although that is the main objective) That only really holds true if you can remember what the ad is for though. If Mike hadn't said what the advert was I wouldn't have known what it was for - so it's clearly not working.
