This was good fun
I learnt that:
The US government knew the attacks were ging to take place and helped them along so that they could star a war and make a bid for control of the worlds oil supply.
That's why no jets were scrambled even though the air liners were off course for over an hour.
The airliner pilots were complicite in the attacks!
The third plane didn't hit the Pentagon, it was an American missle that did the damage - The plane landed safely and passengers and crew were wisked off and given new identities.
The towers were laced with explosives that's why they fell down.
And the Americans never landed on the moon it was all set up in a studio in Holywood.

Oh god, when was this on? It didn't have Jon Ronson did it? Alas, no, but I've just finished reading his Them book, and it's rather ace, isn't it? It was more a collection of random theories pulled off the internet, a few interviews with some people that said "Oh yes, that's exactly what happened, curse the American government", and then a "Well, actually, you've failed to include these facts, which kinda proves that your theory is bollocks, sorry" bit. The piece about the insider trading was interesting, though.

Man this sounds great, but I'm a bit disappointed that it sounds like the research was a bit half-baked. As The God Like Genius That Is Ronson points out, the reason there are so many conspiracy theorists is that there are loads of conspiracies.
THEM is amazing. I have the American edition which has the added bonus of lengthy explanations of who Peter Mandleson is. His new book, The Men Who Stare At Goats is out in November and is about bizarre US Millitary Intelligence.
